As a diabetic, I count carbs. I actually traded sugar out for fiber on my diary because I don't need to track sugar. Carbs are the only thing that matters for me, well and sugar alcohols because I don't care for them, so I don't eat much sugar free candy and the like. The carbs on regular werther's original and a sugar…

I have lost 119lbs with a desk job. I get to work early and walk the trail around the building twice. I often go at lunch as well. I get up once an hour and walk the length of the building, go downstairs and come back the same way and back up the stairs. My family and I go for walks in the evening outside or at the mall…

I've got 40lbs left too! I've already lost 119lbs so I'm in the final stretch. First and foremost. You must love yourself the way you are now. Feeling bad about yourself in your current skin will do nothing to help you move forward. I know it sounds like a bunch of mumbo jumbo, but I had really gotten into the body…

It's all about choices! If you can fit a serving of your fave chips or cookies into your calories, I say do it. There will always be junk food or foods that aren't ideal around where ever you go. Your job is to find out which of them you like the most and make them fit into your day. Yesterday, I knew there was a food…

My fave lower calorie drink at home is whipped cream vodka and diet cherry dr. pepper. Tastes like a cupcake! If I'm out with my hubs I usually get diet coke and captain morgan. It is pretty decent especially if you add lime. MGD 64 is pretty decent beer wise. Though, I like all the bourbon barrel ales/stouts that are 200…

Love it! I have a silicone popcorn tub that we make popcorn in that is as good as air popped from the microwave (similar process as what you're doing). We don't add anything to the tub, but use parkay spray butter and herbs after it's out. So much yummier than the bagged stuff.

I'm so sorry that this happened to you. *hugs* That sounds very scary and I think probably would have had the same response. I don't think one or even two days of over indulging are going to ruin your progress. You might have some bloat because of it, but that will go away as you get back to your routine. Did you report it…

I prelog everything the night before. This gives me a basic outline of what I'm going to eat and gives me an idea what extras might be within my calories. I used to blow my calories on lunch and end up with a protein shake for dinner. Now, that doesn't happen and I find that planning out my food has made both my husband…

I love Aunt Millie's Light breads 70 calories for 2 slices and < 20g of carbs. Love it. We go through 2 loaves a week in a family of 3! Here's a link to a list of the varieties. We usually get whole wheat, but the potato bread is good too. http://www.auntmillies.com/products/breads/healthy-goodness

My dairy is public! You're welcome to peruse and see the good, the bad, and the ugly. Monday was good, until it wasn't. Oops. But I log it an move on. I had a cuban sandwich for lunch and some peaches. I'll get on the elliptical tonight to burn off a few of those bites. I live by the IIFYM (if it fits your macros), though…

Old El Paso mini soft tortilla boats - - In love with these taco shell boats. 4 tortillas for 24g of carbohydrates! Something about that number is just mentally satisfying.

I have the Garmin Vivofit 2 and love it. No charging and waterproof. I use the HRM chest strap when I want to get readings for my cardio.

I had this vaccine at 26 and got pregnant the first time I tried at age 29. I'm an anecdote certainly, but for me I did not have any ill side effects.

My son will get it when the time comes. I had it when it first came out, as I was at the top of the age range when it was introduced. I haven't seen any reason not too.

Could you wait until you weren't fasting? That way you could better fit it into your macros for the day. Just a thought. If I'm craving something specific, I'll try to eat less at other meals to fit it in. Also, I watch my portion size. For example, a fancy food truck is coming to my work tomorrow and I love their food.…

2 of my current faves. Cocoa Berry Pops 1 cup milk (I used 2%) 1 scoop protein powder (i have vanilla) 4 tablespoons dark chocolate hot cocoa mix 4 large strawberries Slice the strawberries and divide among your popsicle molds. Blend the milk, protein powder and cocoa mix until smooth Pour into molds and freeze! (I have an…

Update on me. I've finally made it through the 190 plateau that I was stuck in for a while. My next mini goal is 179, which will put me in the "overweight" category instead of "obese". I know BMI isn't great for individuals, but I'm pretty average height (5'5") and not an athlete, so I'm using it as my guideline. Plus,…

That's a dramatic loss already! Great work, you'll be in Onederland in no time!

You can do this!! It's all about choices! Choosing to move, choosing to eat your favorite things in moderation and choosing to try new foods that fit your plan. You have already made the first choice. To be here and be present in the moment that you are taking back your life!

So very close! Yay!

Congratulations! Well done!

Ok, @juliegilburd and @tanyaflink655 you are my new favorite people. I'm 34!

It is pricey! It's a treat for that reason. Oh, so yummy.

I like scrambled or fried eggs. I'm slowly getting warmer to the idea soft or runny yolk on like a blt or something. No hardboiled eggs for me on their own. Ok in tuna or on a salad. Just had huevos con chorizo for the first time and it was divine!

Maybe think about having some healthy snacks that you can quickly munch while at work and not have to take a lot of time. I keep protein bars(love the zoneperfect bars), trail mix, and nuts in my desk. Especially before going home. I find that a snack an hour before I leave work helps me not eat all the things when I get…
