It is a habit just like everything else. I didn't have a drink for over 6 years. I allow myself wine now but I find that I don't want it any more, and I was a serious every night drinker. It is like everything else, you can be slim whilst drinking (I have met MANY skinny alcoholics! lol). It just depends how much you want…

I am an English short *kitten* with about 17lbs to go (I have lost 30 already). I am 44 and currently weigh 157lbs. I logged in for my 235th day today, so if you (anyone welcome) want a new friend who is a serious logger then feel free to send me an invitation. xxx

I think Becky is just a little surprised at the amount in what we perceive as a healthy choice. (am I right?)...... I find that usually products (especially things like this) that are labelled low fat, are high in sugar content to compensate. :)

I am here for anyone who wants an active MFP friend. I have logged for over 220 days. I don't have an awful lot to lose now as I started my journey over 6 months ago, but if you are after support I am here. xxx

Hehehehe.......... this thread has given me a giggle or three. I also 'up' my exercise by 10 mins if I am slightly over as I don't like seeing the red numbers. I have (more than 6 months ago now....but still!!! ......:/ ) eaten a whole BIG bar of Cadbury's chocolate to myself at once :/

It's a marathon, not a sprint. Take your time and it will stay off, rush and you will more than likely put it back on in a short amount of time. GOOD LUCK, you are here and that is the biggest step toward your lifestyle change. :)

People get stuck (for whatever reason),......... your comments are not helpful. If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all! I would try the advice that you have been given re. circuit training etc :D

Sweetheart,......I know you may thing that people are being mean and I see that you have had a big loss to start with. All I am saying is that the less you have to lose, the less you DO lose each week. I started at 187 and the first few weeks I lost A LOT of weight. That inevitably slows down considerably. I am now at…

Scrambling 2 eggs in the microwave to have on top of wholemeal toast takes about the same time as making peanut butter on toast honey,..... and it fills me up for hours. I have a thin spread of cream cheese on it to make it moist :) xxx
