For short term, if it doesn't hurt I suggest getting on an exercise bike. Just keep moving in some way or another until it eases, remember to use heat packs and have hot baths as its possibly just a muscular spasm. Same problem about the clothes, so I go to charity (thrift) shops and get second hand clothes to do me until I buy my new wardrobe. I have also had to buy new bra's due to a 4" loss and 3-4 cup size off my chest! Not complaining that much though as I have picked up some great bargains, and I donate back all my big clothes…

If i just lost weight i'd have lots of loose skin, where as because I exercise aswel I have toned and kept the elasticity of my skin. I also exercise to make my inside healthy (ie. Heart / Lungs and reduce visceral fat) my starting resting heart rate was about 86 bpm its now 56 bpm.

I use my HRM and so have made a personal exercise name called "Bootcamp" and just add calories burnt otherwise just add as Circuits

I have a couple: Complete the Great North Run (1/2 Marathon) in under 2hr 30min. Complete a trial Duathlon in under 75 min Reach 70lb (32kg) lost (only 4lb to go)

I managed 20 assisted (with theraband) pull-ups - sets of 5 with a minute rest I could not have done that a few months ago

I say YES!! I have lost 4st 9lb / 65 lb since October eating my ex calories back my current intake is 1500 and can burn on average 600 - 1000 cal a session, so I need the extra calories for growth & repair etc...

Hi @loveskinny - thanks for asking about joining the group :0) My 4% goal will be 7.4lb (3.4Kg) - I am training for the Great North Run which is in 3 1/2 weeks so will be increasing my cardio and run distance. SW: 185.9 (84.5Kg) GW: 178.5 (81.1Kg) Looking forward to the challenge :smile:

I have been doing deadliftfs, single straight leg dead lifts, leg press & lunges (with weights and on bosu) x 2 a week I have managed to knock 12 min off my 10km time in the past 4 months

Have gone from 38 E to a 34 C - a loss of 65lb I'm actually quite happy with this as back to a managable size again

i gave some away to goodwill / charity shops, but i also have / had ballgowns etc,, some still with tags on so i have sold them. i too have kept a pair of trousers for comparison / remind me never to go back

When you can't eat / drink / wash your hair etc... as your arms hurt too much to lift above navel level

I have not drank alcohol since 2nd Dec 2011, (OK, I had a bottle of wine last Sat - my 1st drink since then and will never do it again) I have lost alot of weight and inches all over, which I do believe that giving up alcohol has attributed to but not entirely.

I eat most of my exercise calories back - but not because I ate them already! I burn most of my calories before dinner so usually i am going into evening meal in deficit.
