Hi, I use a mixture of both for weight loss but essentially it depends on you and what you enjoy. I would say it all boils down to how hard you work & the length of exercise time, running burns more in a shorter time but cycling has its benefits though, its none impact so easier on the knees and ankles. Cycling also helps…

I shop in charity shops quite often as I don't want to pay too much for clothes that will only fit me for a few months, and they often have good clothes - I wash before I wear (which is what you should do with brand new clothing aswell). BARGAIN: I found a monsoon ballgown that usually costs £250 and picked it up for £40!

Totally in - need to train for my Triathlon in September so need to get up to 74km I'm easily at 20km, but due to lack of road knowledge & recent weather I havent gone further, now time to explore :smile: Can't wait to hear about everyone's challenge :drinker:

Although I weight less my hips are larger, but thats my body shape! I'm 5'6" and weight 13 stone (ish) My hips are 44" and waist 34.5" chest 32" (I am clearly pear shaped) ed. what does it matter, these people need to understand we are all different

Not sure if you can get it but Boobydoo is a good website - I use level 4 shock absorbers (and do not need to use a second sports bra with it) that was as an EE cup and although I am back to a C now, I still use the same brand.

I'm 5'6" and 81 kg (178lb) - currently between UK 14/16 although can fit certain 12's Ideally would like to get to 70 kg size 10/12

45 min Kettlebell conditioning, perfecting my snatch with a 10 min cycle with gloves on, followed by a 45 min HIIT session my forearms are gonna hurt tomorrow :sad:

I only started logging my runs in September 12 (although I had completed 3-4 10km runs and training runs) so from September I logged 320 miles (512 km) so I think I am more likely at about 500 miles (800 km) OP: Good luck with your 1/2 marathon - I am aiming for my first Marathon & middle distance triathlon this year…

Personally I cannot eat just before running / exercising no matter what time of day. I find that eating a Banana / apple or having a protein shake about 30 minutes before my workout works for me.

as stated above, you can do 2 things on a treadmill run or walk! I say, save money and do it outside (just a thought)
