From someone who hadn't seen me in a year: "did you have weight loss surgery?" No, I didn't, but it is good to know I no longer look like I need it.

It's been a while since anyone has posted here so I thought I'd check in with the weirdest compliments I've received. I am currently visiting my long distance boyfriend and seeing a lot of friends and people I haven't seen in either 5 months or over a year depending if I saw them last time I came here. The first weird…

Weigh EVERYTHING you eat at home. As you do it you will get used to what are the usual sizes of the portions you should eat and be able to approximate them when eating outside. However keep weighting your food at home even though you think you know what yoou are eating, it is easy so estimate incorrectly.

Congratulations! It's funny, I've had the same loss in a bit longer than you! Except I've gone from 156lbs to 124lbs because I'm very short, and I didn't have a baby as an excuse. Now I only need to start excercising again and hopefully I'll get in shape like you. You look awesome!

Hi! It is different for everyone. In my case, when I began I only wanted to get to a 'healthy' BMI, which was 132.4lbs for my height. Starting at 155 lb this seemed like a huge loss, specially since I have never been thin or close to that in my life. Once I got to 132lbs I realized I could still loose a bit more, and…

I'm 5'1" and currently down to 124 lbs fromt 151 lbs. I don't think I'll loose much more, I have a rather large frame and I can already see my rib cage more than I would like. I heve never been lighter since I reached 5'1" so I am really happy! I do have some body fat t loose, but I'm not really taking time to excercise…

Hi! Does your trainer now about your kidney problem? maybe try to make the changes slowly and not bump up the protein suddenly. That way you can monitor how you are feeling and stop before you feel sluggish.
-
For me about 5 months, and I've been stuck since. Then again, I started at 151 lbs and I only have about 5 lbs left to lose and I haven't really been eating at a deficit the last couple of months, so I only have myself to blame  .

I think you should do whatever helps you remember to drink enough. I drink largely enough, so I simply don't log the water at all, but if you need to keep track of it it might be better for you to do both then.

Hi all! For me this week I need to eat more protein! I really need to lower the proportion of my calories that come from carbs, and no more snacking! I've been awful the last couple of weeks about that. Also more fruits, I forgot to bring my clementines this morning :grumble: I hope you have a great week!
-
Hi all! Last week was pretty awful for me in the eating front. I went all out with snacks and fast food. I hope next week will be better, I'm hoping this new group will keep me more accountable!
-
Hi all! I am currently hovering around 125 lbs, down from 159. I really want to lose another 5, but I have been stagnating lately, I figure I am really eating at maintenance now, and I am having trouble limiting my snacking lately. I hope joining this group will keep me motivated to keep it down, and be honest in my diary.…

I agree with bethanytowell. NROLFW is great! Specially if structured workouts work best for you. I'm halfway through it and I've been loving it! I haven't tried stronglifts, but I've only read good things about it as well. There is a NROLFW group in these forums, and they give quite good advise if you don't understand a…

That's why you should weight at the same time every day. Throughout the day, eating and drinking, you will gain weight. For fun, the last month or so I've been weighting every day, morning and evening. I don't recommend this, unless you can accept the fact that trehe are daily fluctuations. The most weight I've 'gained'…

I know, but I guess all the posting energy is wasted on reddit.

I'm going to have to stop this challenge. My knees are starting to complain and I prefer not to risk it. Good luck to all of you!
-
All done! I counted those from my weigh lifting workout in the 80, I couldn't have managed otherwise XD
-
All done :)

15 minutes past midnight, but done!

I'm so glad that it's rest today! I almost didn't sleep last night and wasn't looking forward to squats ^^
-
all done :)
-
It's awesome that you are getting back on track. Feel free to add me. That goes to anyone in this thread :)
-
All done for today :) Do you do all of them together or in sets? My knees can't manage that many squats at once, so for now I'm doing 2 sets.
-
Done for today :)
-
Go ahead and add me as well :) I'd love some new friends!

I'm in for some support! either giving or receiving. Feel free to add me :) I'm 5'1 and downt to 139.3 from 156.5. This is the thinnest I've ever been, but I still have some lbs to lose. The first 13 lbs fell off very fast, but since then I've stagnated a bit :( . I did manage to get into a size 6 jeans the other day! I…

So far I've kept most. I didn' really have that much to lose, so most t-shirts still fit right, if a bit looser. The only really big thing I've kept is a pair of jeans I got at my fattest. I love them now because they are really comfortable, specially when I'm feeling bloated, and putting them on reminds me of how far I've…
