Hi I'm Helen, 32 from Gateshead nr Newcastle. I'm looking to lose 2-3 stone to get back to the weight I was when I was in my 20s. I'm doing the 30 day shred at the minute and also zumba, hope to get back to the gym after that. Feel free to add me, I could do with some more UK based friends to push me.

I wish there was something like that near me (UK). I did trampolining as a teenager and loved it. I think it is the most effective form of exercise, you work all muscles without realising you're doing it. Classes are a great idea, because once you've got the right technique you are less likely injure yourself.

I'd like to join please. I'm one that is for losing 30lbs by Christmas, but I already said to them that I wouldn't make that target. I'm aiming closer to 20lbs as I only have 35lbs to lose.

I looked at my health BMI range and went for the very top of it. I was that weight about 8 years ago and was extremely fit and happy. If I hit that weight and feel like I could do with losing a bit more then I will, but probably only 7 - 10lb and no more. I want to be at a maintainable weight, there's no point being skinny…

Just joined the group. Only have 36lb to lose to be in my healthy weight range, so won't get 30lb by Christmas, but it's a good challenge to see how much I can lose.

For me it's a no. I grew up a very active child, I was always outdoors doing something. As a teenager I was part of a trampolining club and then transitioned on to going to the gym 3 times a week. I was extremely fit and so was my mam (we went to the gym together). All meals were healthy, my mam always cooked healthy fresh…

It's got to be Southern Irish or Australian . Being a Geordie myself, the Mackem accent has to be the worst. To all you not from the North East of England, we probably all sound the same, but there is a definite difference and it is very annoying to hear Mackems being portrayed as Geordies.

For me calorie counting is the only way I can lose weight. Start by checking the labels of everything you eat, work out how many calories you eat on an average day and then make a plan to reduce it every day. It's recommended that women eat 1800 - 2000 calories a day to maintain a healthy weight so aim for that. The trick…

If you haven't exercised in a while, then take it slowly at first. It's tempting to really go for it, but you'll burn yourself out and lose motivation. Slowly increase your fitness then you can work hard. It's like the saying goes, "you shouldn't run before you can walk". Also switch it up, don't do the same thing every…

Another Newcastle fan here. I feel exactly like you do. I hope we'll do well, I worry that we'll struggle like last season and lose key players, I dream of winning a cup (any cup will do :)) and I complain at all the stupid decisions Cashley makes.

I did 20 days and then due to other commitments couldn't start level 3, so now 2 weeks later I've decided to start again at level 1. I started on Tuesday (day 4 today) and I'm happy to say that my fitness is definitely higher and I'm user higher weights, but it's still tough. The first time I lost loads of inches but not a…
