  • For me, the FitBit was grossly inaccurate when compared to the BodyMedia (which you may or may not be considering). For example when I went cycling, it recorded only 88 calories burned whereas BodyMedia recorded 359, which is more accurate and would compare with the gym equipment (I was riding outside but it's comparable).…
  • Personally, hated it. I had the FitBit One and when comparing it to the BodyMedia LINK, the BodyMedia was much more accurate. For example, when riding the bike for one hour at the gym, I burned approximately 350 calories. BodyMedia LINK said 399 calories and FitBit said 96 calories. There's obviously a huge discrepancy.…
  • If anyone wants a 15% off code for the BodyMedia products, let me know (message me) and I can give you a unique one.
  • It's pretty nice. I have the Link and it works really well syncing with the phone (it didn't before for HTC but they updated their app and now the only reason to connect it to a computer is to charge it). Much better than the FitBit, which I also tried and it didn't work too well for me.
  • It's definitely accurate for me. I compared it side by side with the FitBit and the FitBit was terrible. For example, I was at the gym riding the bike. I know how many calories I typically burn and that's in tune with what the equipment said and BodyMedia. FitBit said I burned 1/3 of those calories so I knew it wasn't…
  • Epic. I know, right? LOL FML Texting with a reply of "K" Your guyses -- it's not even a word. The list goes on but those come to mind.
  • I uploaded the nutritional information for ya. Click the link below to view it: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/92515287/BWW_Nutritional_Info.pdf
  • Water's the easiest way to get it out of your system (other than watching the intake -- Subway is notorious for that though).
  • I personally use the Body Media link. It doesn't have heartrate monitor though but it tracks everything else and seamlessly integrates with MyFitnessPal. To sync it, just plug it into the computer and it will sync automatically. Nothing you need to do (other than download the software once). Additionally, there are no…
  • I've wondered about the healthy weight loss amount per week too but you have to remember, there are trainers and doctors there watching their moves and bodies to ensure it's safe. If it wasn't safe, they wouldn't do it.
  • I haven't heard of Endomondo so I will have to check it out. But for cycling, I use MapMyRide and for walking/running I use Nike+ for the iPod. They don't sync with MFP so you have to do it manually but that's not a big deal to me.
  • I gave it up for a while but then went back to it. The catch for me was switching to Pepsi Max (0 everything basically). Or if you're a Coke person, Coke Zero. Worth giving it a shot and seeing how it works out for you. But usually I try to drink something else other than soda (at a restaurant I'll go for lemonade for…
  • How is that by the way? I've debated getting the module for the treadmill I have at home but have been on the fence about it. Like it?
  • Yep, I've had them before. Besides watching the diet, here's one thing that I am taking and was recommended to be by the doctor. Since then, I haven't had any (going on 3 years now). Might be worth a shot: http://www.theralogix.com/index.cfm?fa=products.theralithxr.default&dvsn=urology
  • Quiet in this forum so I'll bump it :) My name is Ryan, 28, and since college has been over for a while now, the Freshman 15 shouldn't still apply so I am attempting to lose it and more. I've been a Maryland resident all of my life. Activities I enjoy: photography, the outdoors (hiking, running, recently into cycling),…
  • It's been said pretty much but awesome job and inspirational! You don't even look like the same person :) Well done and keep it up! -Ryan
