Squats and pliés have worked wonders for me. You can do them while using weights as well to make them more difficult. Similarly I have found that running has done a great deal for the overall strength and appearance of my legs :)

hey there. It is possible to over do it, i tend to give myself 2 days off a week or at least a couple of days where the exercise is a lot milder for example a long walk rather than intense cardio :) Give's your body a little time to rest.

Bran flakes perhaps? little lighter than all-bran but still plenty of fibre, add berries or a light sprinkle of a sweetener too if on its own its too plain :)

It is down to the individual as to whether a PT is necessary. In many cases they are definatley very knowledgable and can really help with weightloss knowing a few in the profession myself.
