You just have to maintain self-control and make healthy, wise choices. If catering options have no good choices, then you must let someone know and step out and go get your own food. Don't let anyone twist your arm into eating food that is not a part of your plan.

How much muscle do you want to build? I have some awesome guns and obtianed them while losing weight. I do, however, eat over 100 grams of protein a day.

Maybe you can substitute that burger for a turkey burger, and those fries for turnip fries. You just have to ignore the demons and fight it. After some good fighting, it will pay off and become easier, but the more you give into those demons, you will never become stronger.

Why not just make some changes. Try some diff recipes maybe. I don't like to take a break as I am making a lifestyle change.

For me, I will not add any more carbs than I already do which is about 85-90 grams a day, until I reach my goal weight. At that point, then I will very slowly and gradually add back some carbs, only healthy ones at that.

A true plateau is 2 weeks without a loss. But it can be longer! Don't give up. Making healthy choices is always better than bad choices, regardless of seeing a loss or not.

some weekend you need to come up to MNPLS and check out Minnehaha Park--water falls, great paths, great scenery, great place for a picnic. Plus, you can even rent a bike there. Google it if you can and look into it. You're doing great Erin!

It happens to me. In fact, sometimes I even get exercised induced hives. Its just a part of me. My hubs can exercise, and sweat so much that he loses 5 pounds after a workout, but I swell after a workout and gain 2 pounds EVERY TIME. But its gone by the next morning. Everyone's body is different :)

I also agree that the foods she ate at the wedding probably led to water weight gain. When you consume a good diet and veer off that diet and eat foods you have not prepared, you will gain water weight. remember it takes 3500 calories to equal one pound.

$20,000 is not worth removing 3-5 pounds in my opinion. I am proud of my loose skin, its far better than being unhealthy. working out 3 hours a day is insane! If you are skipping bfast and lunch, then you must be consuming all your calories in one meal??? And exercise in the evening? I, too have to disagree......never once have I skipped any one of my 6 meals a day in the past year, and I have very successfully lost over 100 pounds :)
