Sorry, nope. Age gap.

Alazarus, Is there a lot of jumping in the routine? I tried the Insanity workout, but had to stop because the amount of jumping/up-and-down was putting pressure on back.

Tonya, Your warnings about a trainer is exactly why I've been nervous about pursuing this. Thank you, I will send you a PM!

I should clarify: I am not looking for help from anyone on the website for creating a program. I am looking for suggestions on what kind of "expert" I need to contact; I have no idea where I should even start.

Downtome, I don't know that I've ever been to a Baja Fresh, so I can't compare. Francis Lam, of Salon.com did a side-by-side of Qdoba and Chipotle that gives a good description of Chipotle's food: http://www.salon.com/food/francis_lam/2011/02/23/chipotle_qdoba_burrito_taste_test/index.html

That Chipotlefan calculator is great! I usually just added it all up from the chart on Chipotle's page, but why bother if someone else will do the math?!

I wish there was a "quick calories" feature for exercise as well as for food. That way I don't have to fudge what I was doing so that I can get my 300 calories in there. Thanks for all the comments! I appreciate the help!

Wow, that is so impressive. You should be ridiculously proud of yourself!

There's no way it can work, Paula Deen is trying to kill us! http://aht.seriouseats.com/archives/2008/03/paula-deen-is-trying-to-kill-us-part-4-bacon-donut-egg-cheeseburger.html

Hot decaf or herb tea or lowfat milk (if you have the calories saved) will not only help you feel fuller, it also makes you sleepy so that you fall asleep more easily. If you're getting hungry before bed, then keep that in mind and set aside some calories for later in the evening, or plan a workout so that you can have a…

Okay, gross honesty coming your way: I weighed myself as soon as I got up this morning and I weighed the same as I did yesterday. Then I used the bathroom (both) and I had lost .10 lbs. All that waste weighed nearly a pound! I couldn't believe it. I always try to weigh myself in the same circumstance as I did the day…

I've not tried this, but if the food still on the table is what is triggering your urge to eat and you know you're going to feel hungry after waiting on the kids, how about making yourself two plates: one with the majority of your meal and a smaller one with either a smaller portion or one of yours sides or something? Then…

Fantastic! I hope that it happens for me soon. I started dieting because all of my pants are too tight and I am too stinking poor to buy new ones. Just getting into mine without a horrible stomachache would be great!

Never tried a sample?! OMG, samples are always SO much better than anything I make at home. And H-mart always has awesome stuff: gyozas, spicy broths with tofu, pot stickers and dumplings, ice cream bars, kim chi of every kind you can imagine, and even booze! Yes, even booze. Everyone knows that the alcohol kills the…

And what is the deal with these carb cravings? I never used to be a big carb nut, but right now I am literally salivating at the thought of eating a plain piece of bread. I had to snap a rubber band on my wrist in the bread aisle to keep myself from buying anything.

I would suggest Insanity for someone who doesn't think they're ready for P90x. My husband, my obese roommate, and I all did it and while it kicks your butt, it's made for you to suck at, then get better as you go along. I personally had to stop because of joint pain (there is a lot of jumping and if, like me, you have back…

How do you classify this under "exercise" on mfp?

I know processed food should be avoided, but I am having luck with the Lean Cuisine/Healthy Choice frozen meals. They have come out with a lot of "steamed" varieties that don't taste like cardboard and a quick glance at the ingredients proves its not all preservatives- they actually use a lot of fresh, recognizable…
