I love Pure Barre. I mix it in with running and soul cycle. I like the strength training aspect. I haven't done the platform class yet because the classes are always full. But I think it is to address issue of doing more cardio in an exercise plan.

I like steel cut oats with some combination of the following: apples, raisins, peaches, dried cranberries, blueberries, bananas, walnuts, brown sugar.

Yes, it is worth it. I've jogged with both and it is much easier with the jogging stroller. I will say it is worth the extra money to get a better one. I did it a few years ago to help me lose weight with my first child. I did the 5 days on/2 days off. Like everyone else, the food was awful. I did it primarily to help me with portion control and get use to eating smaller portions but with those two days off, everything tasted so much better even it was generic spaghetti…

After shredding it, I add turkey sausage, onions, peppers, tomato sauce and little bit of Parmesan cheese.

I ran my first half marathon last year and followed the Hal Higdon plan. i am doing the same this year. The half is on Oct 13 and the plan begins the week of July 21st. I was not able to follow it exactly due to other commitments but followed enough of it that helped me get through it.

I log it as strength training. I've just started and the classes I've attended so far are not really high intensity. but I do like it. It is something different and a challenge.

I ate one of the gels they handed about about half way through. Plus some Gatorade and water. I did not take the gels/drink Gatorade during my training and felt fine.
