Why don't more people do strength training? Especially women. I believe running is a cult-ish fitness obsession. The people who do it seem to view it as a type of religion.

That advice sounds iffy to me. I lost weight by going strictly by the numbers. If I worked out, it was just gravy, so to speak. I would not eat my exercise calories. I never did that and I still lost weight. Best wishes!

I used to feel that way before I started counting calories. But doing that made food more about math, not emotion. I don't feel guilty when I have an ice cream cone after dinner if I know I've got 500 calories left for the day. Enjoy your food and know your limits.

You don't even have to exercise to lose weight. Exercise is for maintaining a strong, healthy body. To lose fat, it's all about counting calories.

Losing weight is strictly math. Keep counting calories and you'll lose weight gradually and safely. This is the best way.
