I hear ya! I look in the mirror and almost become discouraged because I'm not seeing those great results, or end results. I know it takes time, but I want it now dammit!!

I record my results every Sunday but I'll be honest and say that I do weigh myself everyday.

Personally I found that MUA puts EVERYONE at 1200 calories which is just ridiculous. And for me it's just not enough food. I was SO hungry all the time, even though I was also eating back my exercise calories. You need to find out what your Basal Metabolic Rate is and then you need to find out what your Harris Benedict…

Pain doesn't really bother me that much, I'm not too worried about that. I had 1 session of tattoo removal and it didn't hurt nearly as bad as I had heard it was going to. Also, as women we are um, more sensitive to pain at certain times of the month. Thanks again :)

Hey guys, thanks for all the responses!! I was also wondering how long each session was?

I started with 30DS and it prepared me for NMTZ as well as BFBM. 30DS incorporates weights and cardio, NMTZ is just weights and BFBM is just cardio. Also 30DS is only 25 minutes, the other two videos are 50 minutes. You could alternate both for sure. Have fun!!

I'm also 5'3" and I started at 140. I'm now 136 and trying to get into my 120's. And funnily enough, my 10 yr high school reunion is this year. It's a slow battle but I'm finally doing something about it. I'm already a lot stronger and my cardio endurance is WAY up (Thanks Jillian!) We'll get there, I believe in us :D

My thoughts exactly! Who knew that is would be so much fun?! Just another way I can be organized in my life and actually benefit greatly from it!

Thanks so much for that list. I really need to buy some quinoa. I've never tried it before. Do you just eat it by itself? Or do you need to add anything for flavour?
-
Those sound amazing!! YUMMMMM.

It's SO SO SO true!! I never used to like to make dinner, nor did I do it very often. Now ever since I started logging my food I make healthy meals all the time for me and my SO. Also I make my lunch everyday, I eat a good breakfast and I always do the dishes as a cook. I've also saved so much money not eating out at…

Thanks!!! I LOOOOVE frozen yogurt. I like to make my own at home but I use frozen cherries or blueberries and plain yogurt. Then I throw it into my Magic Bullet and blend it up. SOOOO GOOD :D

LOL. OMG. Really??? I'm a weakling. Are you sure about that?? Hahahaha.

In the $269 package you get the plyometrics mat (which sells for $90 on the website anyways). Is that necessary, or just a yoga mat is fine? I have a yoga mat as well as 2, 3 & 5lb weights. Oh I should add that I've been doing 30DS for 2 months and alternating between BFBM & NMTZ for 3 weeks.

I've been using Almond Milk instead of water or skim and then I add cinnamon & raisins. OMG. I'm pretty much addicted. The raisins make it for me.

This is me right now. I'm not giving up but it's so discouraging. Keep up your hard work though, it's gotta come off some time!!

Well I end up bending my legs if it hurts too much, I can still feel it in my abs so it must be working. And ITA about the windshield washers. I don't know how those girls in the JM's videos don't move during those exercises!

I'm really stupid about tracking my progress. I started the Shred last year in January and I did it for 3 months and I lost 10 or 11 lbs. This is w/o altering my diet at all. Then I got lazy for the rest of the year (The trip to Jamaica was over and done and I had no motivation, lol) So anyways jump to 2011 I started level…

I not ready for Insanity - YET. Nor do I have the DVDs but I'm looking forward to learning about your journey!!! You'll do great!

I'd like to change my protein goals too. Could someone recommend a reasonable number that I should change it to? Not sure if it matters but I am female, 5'3" and 138lbs. Thanks!

Thanks guys!!! This makes me feel a lot better. I'm always over on my fibre too. :)

You'll get to the point where Level 1 will be a cake walk! But then there is level 2 and level 3.... Those are tough! But worth it, and they only last 25 minutes. Good job!! And to quote Jillian on Level 2 "I want you gargling your heart by the time this cardio circuit is over" AND YOU ARE! O_o

LOL. This is encouraging. I will check out that thread. There is so much different advice, it's so confusing!! :D

That was a bad week for me. I usually eat at least 3-4 veggies a day and about 2 fruit. And I'm really upset about the oats thing, because that's what someone told me to buy and I went and got the HUGE value pack at Costco. Dammit!! LOL. And I'm so confused about the whole grains thing. I'm eating 'whole grain' cheerios…

WTH??? Our bodies suck! LOL. I haven't really measured either but yeah, everything feels just as tight!! :(
-
Thanks :) It somewhat helps to know that there are other people like me out there. What you are saying is what my boyfriend says too. And you both are right. It's just hard :)

I just bought a Polar 6 last week. So now when I log my cals that's why the HRM is telling me. Oh, I altered those totals to match what I am doing. Was I not supposed to? lol. I drink about 5-6 glasses a day. I know, not enough... For some reason my sugars are always really high. I don't always eat candy. This past weekend…

That's AWESOME!! I'm really looking forward to seeing what this change will do. I also bought a HRM today and learned that doing JM's BFBM actually burns almost 500 cals instead of the 330 I thought it was burning. I'm looking forward to doing NMTZ too to see what I am actually burning. And perhaps on a day I don't feel…
