I am eating at a calorie deficit and have noticeable muscle gain. I focus on protein, "healthy" fats and carbs. I exercise 4 or 6 times a week.. lifting 4 or more times per week. I was speaking from personal experience. We are each different.

Maybe you lost a little fat and gained a little musce and it's a "wash" between the two? Maybe one measurement was off just a bit? Do your clothes fit differently? Focus on th e big picture.. 2 lbs.. yay! Keep doing what you're doing.. it always catches up! :flowerforyou:

Hi Perhaps try using lean ground chicken breast. You can use it to make quesadillas [Joseph's low carb wraps, veggies, salsa, non fat cheese], or use it in pasta sauce instead of hamburger - over spaghetti squash, any recipe that might call for hamburger would probably be good with the ground chicken breast! I use frozen, chopped spinach in with ground chicken breast to make tacos. You don't taste it/ kids don't know it's there. Use in salads.. or as your salad base. Replace lettuce with it in sandwiches. It has 5x more fiber than lettuce! :flowerforyou:

Carbs will do that. Eating with a good protein will help. I have to steer clear of nearly any bread except for high fiber/low carb wraps. Joseph's mini pitas have 45 calories... lots of fiber... 4 net carbs.. and does not have the negative effects. Good luck! :flowerforyou:

I completely agree with the first post. If you can stop with 1/2 cup go for it. Also agree with the other post that says we shouldn't eat the same calories each day. We want to "keep our body guessing". So a few less calories one day and a few more then next is a good thing. Enjoy the ice cream! :flowerforyou:

A co-worker who also teaches for Weight Watchers made these. They ARE fantastic! Great way to get veggies into kids, too! For my birthday, she made me a cake.
