  • Ha ha... There was alot that I didn't feel comfortable with... most of the positions, sitting on people... having people sit on me I guess you get over that, lol. My friend is Tom. I got to whack your instructor in the head when he was wearing that helmet, poor guy! I may see you at Harborne then if they start a class…

  • Hi Andrea I'm from England and we don't get as much variety in our Subways as you probably do. Breakfast is served from 08:00-10:00 and we get egg but it's like an dried up ommlette and we don't get a choice of egg white or egg yolks. We also only get two cheese types.. normal rubbery cheese or monteray jack. Wish we got…
  • Well said Becky!
  • Ha ha, I think you were the girl showing your bruise to the instructors before the session started. He offered to give you a bruise on the other arm. It was the short haired girl with the groin guard who sent me flying. I was a little confused as to why she was wearing that... she had wrist guards too so she's probably had…

  • Not really a resturant.... but I like Subway and I often get myself a healthy Subway Turkey Breast and Ham 6 inch sub which is only 266 calories. I think it's great that they have nutritional information available on their website. It's really difficult eat out as you can't say 100% sure how many calories are in your meal.…
  • I only have it as a treat and I have salad with it with a very light dressing. I had a salmon fillet with no sauce a few weeks ago and I thought it was really bland. I guess it was missing the pastry and the lovely creamy sauce :P
  • I think you are supposed to have a rest day. I've heard that you shouldn't do the same exercise two days in a row.. but I'm interested to know what the answers you get :)
  • Yes, ofcourse. You burn calories usng the vacuum so you are definately burning lots of calories running around. Do you use a step counter? Some step counters tell you how far you've walked and how many calories you have burnt.
  • Mmm... Salmon en croute is so nice but I'm not sure how many calories per portion. It's probably too many but I'm sure you could make a low calorie version.
  • Ha ha ha I've lost my brain!!
  • Sounds like a man who doesn't want to fight for you, he's just happy to plod along, but you want more than that. You need the person that you have described and you have the right to deserve that. There's no point wasting two years with this man, he obviously doesn't want the same things you want so get out now before you…
  • I felt the same, the class I went to was a distance to drive and in heavy traffic would probably take over an hour to get to. I'm still thinking that it's too far to travel, but I could go after work which would shorten the journey... I guess you just have to make the decision. I know how easily it is to make excuses not…

  • I agree that cyclists should wear helmets. I'm a car driver and I've seen alot of cyclists take risks. Obviously not all cyclists are like this but some weave in and out of the traffic, take silly risks, without any care for anyone includng themselves. When I was younger and had a bike, my younger brother (by 7 years) said…
  • That's a shame :( Might be a good money making business there though... drive the distance, learn it and then teach it in your home town

  • Thanks for all of your replies. I've done karate before, but I would say that karate is just a form of exercise. Krav seems like something you could actually use, if needed. I think it could be a really good way to lose weight too. I'd recommend anyone to have just one session of this, It's brilliant, but the next day you…

  • I like the sound of burning all those calories. I'm really unfit at the moment. I do alot of walking but I found punching, kicking, and slapping the punch pads extremely exhausting... and I only did it for 30 seconds. I was ready to collapse!!

  • Wow, what are the chances! It was at Perry Barr. I don't recognise you from your photos... were you the girl who set me flying across the room? Lol. I think I was the only one in shorts! It was brilliant and I am really considering joing, but the location of the classes is an issue for me as I don't want to have to travel…

  • I've never watched Greece
  • I agree with Foxxybrown. Take today off so as not to risk further damage or pain.
  • Hey 123456654321 Curious... where's ur profile pic from? Final fantasty? ur ticker too? Looks like it's from a game.
  • Get better first, there's no point damaging your body or making yourself even sicker. When you are well.. get back in to your exercise/diet regime :)
  • Wow! Did you feel weak and in need of food? I would feel like that if I had burnt that many calories. If you had used a Pedometre you could have gained a more acurate amount of calories burnt
  • Thanks Stooooo Wow.. 12 kg kettle bell.. mine is only 2.5 kg. I'll check the site out :)
  • Birmingham, England! It's mostly grey, rainy and cold, but when our summers are hot... they are hot! Lol :)
  • MakingAChoice - Really wish there was a quick fix and I could do an hour of kettle bells and wake up the next day weighing my ideal weight. I know it takes time.. aparantly 4 times aslong as it took to put the weight on in the first place. Lol bayles1 - Thanks... going to try hard and hopefully get good results.…
  • I'm reading the Dexter books... or I was until I changed my half an hour reading at lunch break to half an hour walking around the city. I'm on book 3. It's completely different from the TV show. Still very gory... but Dexter, althought more whimpy, seems more sick... Loving the stories though. Ran out of Karin Slaughter…
  • I think I'll have to do it far away from the TV. Don't want the kettle bell to go flying straight towards it!!! It's the swing move I'm most interested in. I've foudn that i can do squats easily, and it's less pressure on my knees.
  • Lol.. Jillian scares me!! I don't think I could get one of her work out DVDs.. she's too intense. I will definately try to make a good start with the kettle bell tomorrow thought. Some really posstive feedback! Thanks everyone :)
  • I'm definately going to start tomorrow morning. I'm excited at the thought I fast results!!
  • I do a 47 minute walk for 2.5 miles and class this as a brisk walk at 4.0 mph. Hope this helps :)
