  • I make my own with a scoop of whey protein, some frozen fruit, and some lower calorie juice. They come out to be around 200 calories and taste awesome!
  • Strength training helps build lean muscle, without adding bulk, and lean muscle helps burn fat! So it all helps in the end.
  • I think it all depends on how and where you lose it. Like if you are doing a lot of exercise and gain muscle, you may not lose too many pounds but you'll sure drop some sizes!! A couple of years ago I lost about 30lbs, give or take a lb or 2, and went from about a size 10 to a size 2. I'm very short though and 30lbs is a…
  • Domi, I've only had about a 30-40lb total change, gained and lost and partially gained back, but some days I definitely see myself as the heavier me, and I get discouraged thinking all the work I'm doing isn't making any difference. Pound-wise, I am higher, but my clothes still fit and I get told I don't look any bigger,…
  • I had a trainer at the gym I used to work at tell me to do weights/strength training first and then cardio, and was also telling all of his clients the same thing, but I knew what worked for MY body and if I lifted first I wouldn't be able to do nearly as much cardio, but after 30-45 min of intense elliptical I was totally…

  • A milkshake at Hardee's has over 700 calories! Ridiculous! They must use an entire container of ice cream in each one haha.
  • Thank you!! Hopefully one of these days I'll start to see a difference!
  • I've noticed when I go above 1200 I tend to gain : (. But I think I'll try it for a few days and see if it makes a difference. I was way underestimating my Zumba calorie burn apparently, and maybe I am eating too few calories because of that!
  • I want to be back down to my old weight by May 20th when I go see Deftones : )...gotta be hot when I see them!
  • Don't do more than what you feel up to doing. If you feel up to taking a walk or something, that should be fine, but rest as much as possible!
  • It depends on how bad you are feeling. Sometimes it can help, sometimes your body just needs rest to get over whatever it is that's making you sick.
