  • Good idea! There are a few things on each level that she says that get me .... my daughter is never about when I work out so I generally just cuss her out lol Level 1 Day 6 done, I really do enjoy this level, as this is my second go at the shred I remember level 2 and am hoping I can take it on this time :ohwell:
  • Well this has made me giggle thanks  I was just thinking I am missing my gym membership and now I realise nope I'm good! I'll add mine .... my old gym had a pool with sauna/steam rooms at one end with loungers out, not many people would use the pool which was great except for the glut of guys that would just sit…
  • Ok I'm back  Day 5 Lvl 1 done, missed Sunday and yesterday in favour of other workouts, I am getting bored too but determined to stick with it this time and not progress too fast! Hope everyone's doing well and feeling stronger x
  • I am in exactly the same position so would be interested how people have got over this hurdle. I eat very well but have a weakness when it comes to sugar!
  • Day 4 Level 1 done today, managed a few full on push ups yay!
  • I had to miss yesterday I'd done too much cycling and could barely move my legs lol Anyways back to it first thing this morning Day3 Lvl1 done .... forgot how much I enjoy level 1 I can really see how much fitter I am this time around. Keep at it everyone :drinker:
  • Well done on starting out so well, I understand where you're coming ... you are not alone :flowerforyou:
  • I use a shock absorber back fastener and then one of the over the head type, I have to double up it's the only way
  • Day 2 Lvl 1 done phew! I am going to make sure I progress more slowly and do 10 days at each level, last time I rushed ahead and I don't think it helped. Hope everyone's feeling it today, the sun is shining here which is even more motivating ...... summer's coming!!
  • I started again today .... got up to 21 days last month then slipped :blushing: Would love to join an active group, please please everyone keep involved and keep posting x
  • I get bored very easily so try to shake up my breakfast routine regularly. I am also a fan of porridge during winter months and second adding some cranberries or other dried fruit mmmmmm I like to do some scrambled eggs with grilled mushrooms and tomatoes, somedays I'll cook up some Quorn Veggie sausages too (that may be a…
  • I do 6 miles twice a day for my commute, I don't find it gets me enough as cardio. I too am planning on picking up a HRM this month to see what exactly I'm burning. I wouldn't rely on it totally for your cardio.
  • I'd like to know too, I really want to get the gap back at the top of my legs
  • And me! Again not sure what the ultimate goal is, I started out around 210lbs in 2005 post pregnancy, weighed in at 161lbs March 2009 and here I am now pretty stuck finidng it very hard. I have changed my life style massively even if the scale refuses to acknowledge it  started working out March 2009, gave up…
  • I would ditch the shred for a day, I'm always surprised how much stronger I am next time I do it after a rest day.
  • Hmmmmm that seems a good list. I always make sure I have a few layers of clothing too something warm and something waterproof just in case, oh and be careful where you store you mobile phone mine hates sweaty pockets
  • I am a single working mum of a 6yo and it's all in the planning  I find when I don't plan I fail, I sit down and menu plan one night when my daughter's in bed and also plan the food shopping for, making sure I have suitable snacks and factor in my work lunches. I get up early, all clothes are laid out the night…
  • Good on you trying it out, I struggle with it, think I need to experiment to find one that doesn't make me go
  • Fantastic job and in just 5 months :noway:
  • I'm having this for dinner tonight! I just mix lime juice, dark soy, a dash of olive oil, crushed garlic, cayenne pepper, black pepper and sea salt ..... pop in the fridge for a few hours then bake. I usually just eat with a side salad mmmmmmm dinner time!
  • Great info, a few people have recommended chromium to me as I'm a sugar addict. I gave up soft drinks over a year ago, ditched the white processed foods and overall eat a really good diet .... except the sugar cravings get me everytime and that's my downfall!
  • Without being rude I agree everyone is different, also in my late teens/early twenties I could not eat much for a couple of weeks and my weight would drop off no problem. Late twenties and post pregnancy sooooo much harder x
  • Does whatever you're moisturising with contain oil or something that could be blocking up your pores or creating some kind of sweat rash?
  • Beware the 'school mums' in the black suv's ...... scariest part of my journey going past private school at pick up time
  • Ha ha this is all making me smile. I commute to work just 6 miles each way .... firstly don't be ashamed of the lycra  You can put shorts and a tshirt over the base layers if you're feeling self concious, a good wicking base layer is a god send, panniers are a must too. I do a good old strip wash in the bathroom…
  • Hmmmmm not sure about brands (I'm in the UK) but no matter what sports bra's I have bought I have to double up. I like shock absorber ones and although go underwired day to day can't stand it when working out. I use standard back fastener and then one over the head style, hope that makes sense! I'm 34G and that stops me…
  • And me! Don't get to do much biking but commute to work, I actually put weight on when I started cycling to work last year :blushing: think I was slightly generous with my calories earnt! Just checked out your blog don't think we're too far from one another.
  • Hmmmmm I not good with this one my reward is that I go and get a cupcake from my favourite bakery on Saturday mornings lol
  • Day 19 done - still struggling with some of the moves in level 3, I'm looking forward to being able to do some of it a bit more gracefully lol
  • Hmmmmmm I'm not too sure about this either. I don't drive so I walk alot and carry heavy bags etc I don't even add any of this activity because I've always done it, so the way I see it I put the weight on doing it and my body's already used to it if that makes sense?! If you're losing at a rate you're happy with I wouldn't…
