Wouldn't be able to get a sleeve due to my job - and I literally roll my sleeves up all the time. I have one tattoo though, on my rib so hidden away but I love it & don't regret it. Hopefully getting my second in the next few months

Sure would

- Definitely waking up happier ^ - Feeling your collarbone/ribs coming through - Having your jeans sag around your butt and looser at the stomach - not an attractive look but I love it and hate it at the same time - Having friends tell you you're doing a great job and that you look healthier than you've done in years (in a…

No, but he seems bear-y nice. Maybe the bad puns are why no one messages me?!

Oh how I hate hungry days - I try and load up on filling food and non-junk if I can. So nuts, bananas, soup and tea all help me, and rice cakes are a life saver that stop me craving crisps. I realise if my belly is full and I'm still craving, there's not much I can do about it, so distractions such as walks help me.…

Ignore the scales and keep at it, change is still happening under the scenes. Maybe take measurements of your body as a better indicator of loss i.e. waist, hips and neck.

The song playing right now is Calvin Harris - Under Control

Same thing happened to me after a few more strenuous workouts, the scales went up 3 llbs yet I didn't feel bigger. But I've literally got down to the pre weight in the last few days - took about 1 1/2 -2 weeks. Stay committed and it'll come off before you know it.

Add away!

If they bring it up again, perhaps say it's a goal that will make you happy. They can't argue with your happiness! I would also possibly try and deflect the conversation away onto new topics when weight discussion comes up, be as vague as possible if you can re how much you want to lose. My parents keep telling me what…

I couldn't walk for about 2 days after pushing myself hard in my first spin class...be prepared for sore legs & have a nice long bath after.

Just had a quick look, and it's not particularly low carb. Perhaps try and switch up to having salad on the side for dinner instead of chips for example, or having 1 or 2 sweets instead of more. Maybe more fruit in your diet, or reduce alcohol intake and have 1-2 glass at weekends only. Seems like you have a sweet tooth,…

The way I see it is that you're going to have off days sometimes, just make up for it in your next workout. At least you did 15 mins, you could've thought forget it, and done none! Something is better than nothing, so don't beat yourself up about it. I find that when I'm energy less I still do my workout but at a slower…

Chunky soups are my lifesaver when I want warm comforting lunchtime food instead of salads. Go for a low cal one, add in your own chicken. Or go for one with plenty of veg. Or get flavoured cooked chicken packs to make things more flavoursome in salads. I like a variety of vegetables e.g. sugar snap peas or raw broccoli -…

Find distractions and keep out of the kitchen. Best thing is not to keep the binge food around you. Today is a new day to start afresh. Look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself that you can do it. Then maintain that throughout the whole day. If you feel weakness, have a cup of tea with a sweetner to curb appetite…

Is there a dietitian you can speak to? I find fruits too sugary and they spike my blood sugar, along with carbs. If you reduce these factors, you'll need less insulin to control. Add in some daily exercise and your sugars will start to decrease and lead to better control. It can be difficult balancing food/insulin/blood…

Hi all, I'm 28 5'5 weighing about 174llbs & I'm diabetic. Losing weight can be such a struggle and I've never really managed to get to my ideal size but I'm so determined to do it properly this time! Have lost 5llbs in 3 weeks with healthy eating and gym sessions regularly.
-
Same here, we can do it! Have lost 5llbs since 1 Jan and need to keep going now.

Yes, I'm in! I'm a 12/14 at the moment and a 10 is what I'm aiming for - roughly want to lose about 2 stone.
