I think I'm going to switch from a daily calorie goal to weekly, so I can enjoy weekends or a night out with friends easier. Looking forward to hearing about anyone who has had success with this approach.

Bump for later. Thanks!

Thanks for posting all these. Yum!

I agree with this^^ I cook my own food at home to count calories and only go out to restaurants as a treat or special occasion. However, it would be nice to know what they are putting in the food especially if you have allergies or are trying to avoid certain types of processed foods/additives.

Way to go! Love the visual!

Great job! I can't wait to fit into smaller jeans. Apparently I was squeezing into my size 16 jeans before MFP because after losing 25 lbs they now fit just a little loose and are comfy.

Great work! I'm about the same height and started higher than you but working my way down. Thanks for the motivation.

Just found this thread. All the food looks and sounds delicious. Getting lots of ideas. Tonight I made egg salad with avocado and greek yogurt instead of mayo, and added a slice of turkey bacon to the sandwich. Tomorrow I'm making buffalo pulled chicken in the crockpot.

Plain Greek yogurt mixed with vanilla protein powder and topped with either a few dark chocolate chips or strawberries and granola.

Thanks for posting, I've been craving waffles for awhile but never make them because I don't have a good recipe.

Great work! I'm just starting some weight training as I also like the way it makes me feel stronger.

Awesome! You definitely pulled it off.

Great work! You look amazing!

You look amazing! Definitely not too thin. Great job and don't let their negative comments get to you.

Look good, will have to try!

Depends on your daily calorie goals. I aim for 1200 calories/day so i try to keep my meals around 300-400 calories each so that I can fit in a small snack or two.

My suggestion would be to increase your exercise if you can and just eat the food in moderation but still go out to all the great food places. Try not to make your calories/dieting a big deal, I've found that no one wants to hear about other peoples diet restrictions. She might not even notice your eating less if you are…

You can do this! Just keep logging on MFP and reading the message boards for motivation. I totally understand about being around temptations, my husband can eat anything and not gain weight as well. It's tough at first, but keep in mind whatever the reason(s) you want to lose weight and you can do it.

It took me awhile to realize I snack a lot when I'm bored and not actually hungry. Could have used this poster before I started MFP. Now I purposely dont buy much snack food, so I can't snack.

My only advice is to not give up. You aren't gaining any so thats always good. I was stuck at the same weight for 4 weeks and was eating right and exercising, it was so disappointing, then all of a sudden i dropped almost 3 pounds the 5th week and another 2 the next week. Now I'm losing about a pound per week.

If I eat before cardio I'm uncomfortable, but it doesnt seem to matter for me with weight training. Do whatever feels ok for your body.

I typically eat my calories back, as that is my motivation for exercising. More food. I've been steadily losing about a pound a week since January this way. I know some people who never eat the calories back and some that only eat about half the calories back. Choose whatever you think makes the most sense for you. Good…

Sounds yummy! Going to give this a try the next time I have company over.

Sounds delicious! I will have to give it a try. Thanks for posting.

Congrats! You look great! I'm the same height and have a similar goal weight, so your post is really motivating.

Got my first comment on my weight loss from a relative :)

Sounds delicious, will try it. Thanks.

Plain greek yogurt has a taste more like sour cream, so I use it as a substitute for that. If I want it to taste more like vanilla yogurt I just mix in vanilla protein powder. Haven't made any smoothies with it, but it might work. Depending on the type of protein powder you have you might also want to add some sort of…

I usually sneak in a small amount of pretzels and dark chocolate, and get a water

We are now a little over two-thirds of the way through, and I have only lost 8.5 lbs for the challenge, so pretty far behind. I have been keeping up with logging my calories every day, but I have not been making time for exercise. I plan on making exercise a priority each day, at least 30 minutes. I am hoping to make 15…
