I am sorry that the doctor wouldn't listen to your side -- to hear that you have been making good changes for your weight and health. But I HAVE to confess, I'm very glad that the doctor DID bring up weight as an issue. Something that has bothered me a lot since I've started this journey is remembering all the doctors I've…

Exactly! That's how it was for me too. All at once I just knew I was going to change everything and that there was no backing out or going back. I was going to get healthy, period.

I have the bluetooth version and haven't had any issues with it at all. I think a lot of the bum reviews for it are from when it was new and still buggy. There have been several updates since it was first released... I was also concerned I'd stop wearing it after awhile and was embarrassed thinking about people looking at…

Drink enough water to keep your pee colorless (or close to it) and that's enough.

I have the same thing every morning... - iced vanilla latte (8 oz 1% milk, 4oz espresso, 2 pumps vanilla syrup) (homemade) - whole wheat multigrain bread -- toast, with 1 tbsp peanut butter and coated with cinnamon. (290 calories) In the winter I'll sometimes have oatmeal instead of the toast.

Day 10 of level 1 is done! I was feeling so good I jumped right into level 2! I think I'm going to enjoy level 2. The exercises are different and fun. I'm ready to take a nap now!

I think your deficit is too high. I use BodyMedia Fit, so I have the same data. When I was running large deficits like that (averaging 1200 deficit a day) I totally plateaued for weeks. I had been going to the gym and doing a lot of cardio to get in 1100 calorie burn workouts. I have backed off that, focusing on 30 Day…

Done with day 7! So proud of myself for sticking with it. Woot!

Woman's multivitamin iron (prescription) vitamin D (prescription) flax oil capsules (1-3 daily) green tea extract Align probiotic B-12 about four days a week calcium with magnesium about 3 days a week I think tha's all of it.

From O'Charley's, the chipotle chicken tenders - 1050 calories.... which isn't TOO bad, I could fit that in once in a great while if I get in a good gym workout earlier in the day.... BUT the sodium is the real killer - 4230mg!!!! Totally insane.

Day 6 was hard for me today. I felt like I was struggling the whole time. I usually do it after lunch and today I did it before lunch... maybe I didn't have enough energy for it because I hadn't eaten prior. I think the side lunges with arm raises are getting harder every day.

Day 5 is in the can. Yay!
-
Yes, that's exactly what happened! Yesterday was tough mainly because my kids kept bothering me during it. Not a good time to ask mommy for a snack! My horns may have come out at one point. Today (day 4) was a breeze though! And the time just flew by!

I don't have it often, but I like regular bacon. When we have it we get center cut.

Day 3 - DONE. ugh.

Wow, girl! You look amazing!! You went from looking a lot older than 16 to a lot younger than 16! Good for you!
-
Fantastic!!! Keep it up, you are on a roll!! :)

Today is my day 3 and I'm not looking forward to it at all. My legs are so sore today I can barely walk after sitting down for a few minutes. I'm afraid I'm going to collapse half way through the workout, but I'm going to give it my 100%. I have to say this is humbling. I thought it would be easier this time around with…

Besides losing fat (good diet and cardio!!), be lifting weights for your arms. Jillian Michael's has a lot of online video clips for exercises - just google! Lots of things you can do with handweights and also push-ups help a ton!
-
Just finished day 2... my quads were screaming at me (surprising to me since I'm always working them at the gym!).... and now my abs are killing me. Oh, and I'm having trouble lifting my arms over my head now. lol Looking forward to the results!

My gym has a 90 minute time limit for childcare...that's usually what makes me stop. I gogogogogo for 85 minutes and then dash to the restroom to wash my hands and wipe the sweat off my face and go pick up my little gremlins. It's a luxury to go to the gym without kids and not have to keep checking the clock! That usually…

If I go to the gym I'm there for a MINIMUM of 600 calories, but more like 1100. I do a min. of 35 minutes on the elliptical - sometimes up to 60 minutes (depends if I can catch a good groove and whether or not I was able to score a machine directly under the ceiling fans ) If I had a shorter time on the elliptical…

2226 calories for 6 hours of errands sounds really off. I use BodyMedia Fit, so I have my calories logged 24/7 - on a regular day (no extra workouts) I burn 2400-2600 for the whole day - that's 24 hours, including sleeping time. Unless your six hour time frame included a long hard workout, then I'd say your HRM is really…

I just started today - a day late, I hope I can still join in. :) I've done the workout off and on, but never for the full 30 days in a row. That's my goal now. My kids just got out of school for the summer and I know I"m not going to be able to keep up my regular gym workouts, so this is my focus for the time being. I…

Good for you! One of my sons has autism. I'm looking forward to joining the walks and run for the cause in the future.

Same here.

That's because corn isn't a veggie, it's a grain. :)

Yep. The salad from Olive Garden still makes me shake my head in disbelief. One small serving is 350 calories. :noway:

I was in the same boat yesterday - my littlest guy's 2nd birthday! I had to guess and then doubled it just to be on the safe side.

I'm completely addicted to Blue Diamon smokehouse jalepeno almonds. That's my go-to snack right now. :) I grab for baby carrots often too.
