  • I feel like I've been punk'd by learning all of this! No wonder I couldn't lose weight for so long. No wonder I felt better after I "cheated"; I was eating what I should've been eating! I have been on a diet for years and I'm new to calorie counting...I did the infamous 1200 that mfp suggested and gained 2 lbs in a week. I…
  • wait, let me see if i understand you. you're eating 1500 calories per day and you're working off 1000 calories per day? 1500-1000=500 calorie intake/day. target intake/day is at LEAST 1200 calories. so, you're in starvation mode. when this happens, your body starts holding on to all the calories and fat. you're supposed to…
  • i buy the Jello fat-free, sugar-free pudding in cheesecake and make it with fat free milk. then i buy the small Keebler graham cracker pie crusts (6 come per pack) and i put the pudding in the crusts and let it thicken up in the fridge. they're the perfect serving size and they taste really good. my husband loves them :)

I've found that with this website, I refrain from eating big meals @ the hospital, but I snack on little things every 2-3 hours...mostly nutritious stuff.…
  • I'm new, too, but I'm pretty sure you're supposed to eat almost all of the alloted calories you have for that day. Every human body's metabolism is different. I go under by about 80 calories per day but I'm sure that's not enough to send my body into a tailspin. If you were to go under more than 200 calories per day AND…
