  • Manged day 4 shred last night, after being out all day, far better than i expected, although according to my hrm I keep going outside my "zone" whilst doing it, not sure what I am supposed to do, when that happens, although my resting heart rate seems quite good. tonight is going to be interesting as I'l need to do shred…
  • I haven't done anything like this before I started on Wednesday, and I have felt it, a few things I have struggled to do, but on the whole it has been ok. I did the first two days ok, but I did find it a little uncomfortable even walking downstairs. I couldn't do it on Friday, but carried on Saturday and no where near as…
  • I am not in a group but I am over 40, mum of two, and I have lots to loose. Feel free to add me as a friend if you would like
  • i did wiifit plus for over a month before joining MFP and I lost 9lb. i now have weights for controllers and have a riser on order to make the balance board higher. i have two kids and full time job, so no time to go to a gym either.
  • I won't be doing shred tonight, just got home so late, and I am worried if I do I wont be able to move at all tomorrow. hopefully can try tomorrow evening
  • I am praying that I at least loose some, I'm at least a KK size My back will thank me if nothing else. Finally got out of the nursing bra's I've been wearing for the last four years!!!
  • A little update for UK ladies, I managed to purchase a sports bra for my chunky monkeys last night from Bravissimo. They now have a sports bra up to K size in 36 back highest back size they do in 40 and in that largest cup size is J £30 well spent, I managed to do the jumping jacks on 30day shred which were impossible the…
  • i managed day 2, having purchased a sports bra on my way home, and the jumping jacks were very painfull the night before But amazed to say Bravissimo had a sb that could accomodate my chunky monkeys! I am feeling the effects some what, I have challenged myself to walk the stairs at least once a day, since I transfered into…
  • if you don't have a phone that can run the app, try a small note book, right it all down whilst you are at home then add it via pc when you get to work the following day, I've done that sometimes when I have lost net access.
  • STARTING MEASUREMENTS Weight: 215.2lb Waist: 45" Hips: 42" Belly: 50" Thighs:25" Upper Arm: 14 Body Fat %:42% I survived day 1, think I might feel it tomorrow!!!
  • it will get better, if you havent already try draggin out a tape measure and taking your dimensions down - i didn't even realise I had lost and inch of my arms, thighs and calfs. plus 3 inches of waist and hips in a month, even though the scales didn't change that much.
  • i'd quite like to join, as the DVD arrived yesterday, but I am not sure if I can start tonight, might have to be tomorrow for me. I'll add my details tonight or tomorrow morning TM
  • Hi Sarah, I'm a mum of two, age 40 in the uk. I have always had issues with my weight. It took 10.5 years to have my first child, and some of that was due to polystic ovary syndrome, which doesn't help with weight either! I have about 100lb to loose and I am just starting out too. Welcome on board
  • My Suggestion (it worked quite well for me) as I have never tried any form of diet before. Just do everything as you would normally for a week or two and log everything, i mean everything that goes past your lips. This will give you a good idea of where you are starting from, don't worry if you go over the calories set in…
  • I haven't worked out what my goal will be i need to be between 110 - 145 which is a fair range. my plan is too see what happens when I at least make it to 145 and then adjust it from there as I see what my body looks like and how I feel, I have always had broad shoulders and big feet so I doubt I will end up at the 110…
  • To be honest, I'm trying to come up with something to give up. I didn't eat much chocolate before I joined MFP (still have chocolate in fridge from christmas & last easter!) I rarely drink alchol I am not really a sweets person I drink caffine free diet coke - once a week if that i drink quite a lot of coffee - but even…

  • As you can't track your weight whilst you are away, what about tracking your body measurements as chucking a tape measure into your case won't add much weight and might help if you are getting worried?
  • Welcome Liz, good luck on your journey
  • that's it, I forgot to keep an eye on the net number and it has really slowed down my weight loss, You don't have to eat back every single calorie, but try and get close, as you go on, you will find a balance that works for you as we are all individuals. My personal target at the moment is to make sure i get my net over…
  • I do not do any running or jogging for the simple reason that no one makes a sports bra that comes close to fitting me! (size KK+ :blushing: :blushing: ) I'm only 36/38 at the back, even these the underwire doesn't actually sit on my chest its about 2" off it. My Dad always used to tell me at least I could never fall flat…
  • Checking in one week of March is down. • HRM = heart rate monitor
  • I have to give credit to the wii for my weight loss so far. I have added the dumbbell kit to the controllers and I have a raiser for the board on order. Thinking of getting another game to add variety, but the rhythm boxing Was quite interesting with the dumbbells! Although I did wonder what effect they had on calories…
  • I have my activity setting as sedentary as although i am generally on my feet all day, the pace I could be working at varies greatly, but I do record my daily movements and when heading to and from work, I usually if I can get out the house early eneough will walk to the station. i've gone from 20 minute stroll to 10-12min…
