Also had to rest once during cardio, but hoping I'll get better...think I went a tad full on with the skipping to start water ith! Had to stop n have a swig of water for a wee bit. • Seems my windows phone won't let me have that app (its rubbish, can't even get candy crush!!) boo :( Am 156lb and got just over 200 cals logged as circuit training, so doesn't sound a million miles off... But, I've had my first go! Woo! My legs feel wibbly.... Just another 29 to go... :D
  • Thanks :D what sort of cals are you using up? Know it's different for everyone but always felt a bit disappointed by the fact that 30 mins on the crosstrainer was more calories burnt than my exercise DVDs! Which are about 45 min or so and leave me a limp, dripping rag, whereas the crosstrainer, I got breathless n sweaty…

  • Thank you :D I saw it on amazon with weights for not a huge amount so think I will invest. Maybe do some before and afters myself!! Xx
  • Yep, also maybe need to aim to eat you daily allowance. Snack on fruit or raw veg if you start craving. I also drink a pint of water if I think I'm hungry, then wait for half an hour and see if I still am. Mostly, i find that i was thirsty rather than hungry (apparently easy to mistake) xx

  • I think I vary between lightly active and active with the odd bit of desk work thrown in! surely if you're set at sedentary, if that's basically not moving much at all, which is what I take the word to mean, anything more than sitting my *kitten* could be logged? I basically think of sedentary as a step above hibernation...

  • I log once a week (if I remember) on a Friday morning, after a wee before my tea! I get on the scales a few times during the week to nose but don't let it bother me too much, my weight can fluctuate by 7lb at times so an official once a week is best for me I think.
  • Thank you for your replies! It's interesting to hear your views, and another myth busted! I try not to worry and eat when I'm hungry, which does sometimes have me eating dinner at 9pm.
  • Having counciling helped me with stress and depression...

  • Thank you for replying everyone! Some good advice here :D I was planning on swimming this evening so enquire about gym membership while I'm there. I believe it includes swimming and classes, so hopefully that should be a good way to keep things varied!! I've been a member in the past and did go regularly, so long as I went…
