500 calories a day eats away at your heart's lining... so NO to that. I'm usually about 1000-1200 calories a day, and I got for long walks every other day, with a hard workout on Thursdays.

I am all about frozen fruit and sugar free jello. I'm not really worried about Aspertame at all, so it works out to about 10 cal a cup. I also use those 100 Calorie packs of cookies and such.

I JUST had that same experience! Kmart had it's clearance sale, and there's nothing as satisfying as $5 jeans that are a size or two smaller!!

I'm totally with you, Sirenism. I don't take drops/pills/crazy herbs and I work my *kitten* off, and my friend takes everything under the sun, doesn't watch her calories, doesn't work out, and complains to ME about how hard it is. Sister, I work my *kitten* off. Don't tell me taking a magic pill 3x a day is "rough"!!

I think half of it is just consciousness of intake, so good for you on that! Also, try doing some light exercise to get you going, even if it's just a walk around the block. Oh my goodness, some of these success stories are SO inspiring! I'm 5'0", and I started in at 195. (I looked like a bowling ball) I've since lost 10 lbs, and us shorties know that 10 lbs off a small frame SHOWS. Thanks for the love, support, and encouragement, everyone!

Well my biggest problem is that I'm a snacker. So whenever I feel peckish I drink a glass of water and wait 30 minutes to see if I really still want it. That usually quells any snacking, and if I still want it, then I figure out how much 100 calories would be. Lost 10 lbs so far!
