Actually I am a woman who agrees with typical Male opinion on this topic. I was curious about the consensus because the question came up after Hubby and I watched a tv series. He felt that I ceased to be single when we became exclusive. I told him that I felt that I ceased to be single after we were married. :)

Not always--I am a Married Female and in my mind I stopped being single when I said I do. Hubby wasn't thrilled but I told him I was exclusive which was all that mattered. :)

I thought common law marriage was after 7 years . . .

^^^^^^^ This. I am an accountant so I could be jaded. LOL! I am also married. However, in my mind I ceased being single when I said I do. I was exclusive after a week with my BF that became my Hubby 2 years later but I had been exclusive, engaged, living together and the invites were sent and my ex called the wedding off 4…

My Doctor has indicated that you can continue doing whatever you were doing prior to getting pregnant. With my first and only child I was completely inactive and he warned against doing too much. I am now fairly active and plan on staying that way. The only thing he cautioned me about was to only lift 10lbs or less. I pray…

Hi Ladies, I am 6 feet even. I started MFP 1 year ago at 207.5 and my Goal Weight was 190. I actually got down to 185 in June and now flux between 185 and 189. I wear mostly size 10s and a few 12s. I was 135 coming out of HS at the same height. I have since looked back at old pictures and realize I like my weight as is. I…

#1 is Very nice but since this is a work function I would suggest wearing a camisole under it if you really want to wear it to work and combine it with a heel no higher than 2.5 inches.

Fruit, veggies, almonds, unsalted pistachios. Fiber one Brownies, Chocolate, blueberry and blueberry pomegranate rice cakes by Quaker, popcorn, laughing cow cheese--especially chipotle and weight watcher ice cream bars.

I know how you feel. I got the same responses when I lost my first 10 lbs. I am 6 feet tall and currently weigh 186 and many people think I shouldn't lose anymore. I was 30 lbs lighter when I met my Husband 9 years ago but I feel I was too thin then. I started out a 14 and am now a size 10 or 12 depending on if the fabric…

What about some low cal cereal? The protein and calcium in milk can be very filling. Popcorn is another of my favorites. Always eat when you are hungry--just try to find good or semi-good options. You can do it!!!!!

The truth is not harsh--it simply is the truth. Starvation mode is a very real possibility when one doesn't consume sufficient net calories. Destroy/slow down-semantics! BTW--I believe your maintenance calories are 1200 because you have opted to lose 1.5 lbs or 2 lbs per week. You may find that you will lose more weight if…

Most people don't understand that if you don't eat back some of your exercise cals and ensure you consume 1200 Net cals. When one doesn't do this their body goes into starvation mode, they destroy their metabolism and they will stop losing weight.

I just got back from vacation and I had 4 early AM workouts. I also had a healthy breakfast and lunch each day and splurged on dinner--including ice cream 4 times. Enjoy!!!! BTW-- I stayed in a condo with a fully-equipped kitchen so I bought oatmeal, fruit, salad, etc and this also saved lots of money on my food budget.

Many people feel that bacon is the bane of our existence. However, Oscar Meyer's Center Cut bacon is only 70 cals for 3 slices with 7 g o protein and 5g of fat.

Also keep in mind that if you find something at a great price point but is a little big--buy it and have it altered. The alteration expense and cost of the piece should still be less than the original price. Once you do this, don't let them cut the fabric and you will have a tailored article of clothing. Also, check Cache,…

6.5 years is a long time. However, many men aren't ready to marry until their late twenties or early thirties. Ask yourself what the rest of your relationship is like. If everything else is great, you may want to give him a few more years. If not, perhaps a Pros/Cons evaluation is in order. Good luck and I will be praying…

I need a little perspective. How old are you and how old is he?

Hey SC. Normally I would say switch up your routine. However, you seem to do a variety of workouts so I think you keep your muscules confused. If I were in your position, I would probably seek a professional's help. If you can find a nutrionist/dietician who is also a trainer that would be the best combo. Your health…
