Hi!! I take pump and combat on a regular basis and LOVE them. The calorie burn depends on your height weight age and how hard you're working/how much you're lifting. Yes tell your instructor it's your first time, they will advise you to stay light if you're under 5 class. You shouldn't go up with your weight until you have your techniques down. If the room has a mirror I recommend you stand near it so you can check your form throughout the class. My personal tips are, keep your abs…

I don't put sugar in my tea or coffee and I still go way over my limit everyday just by drinking milk and eating 3 pieces of fruit and a yogurt. I wouldn't worry about it, unless your sugar comes from processed sources

Absolutely!!!!! It's excellent cardio and you do burn a ton of calories, I burn around 500 per session and I take it about 3 times a week.

I did well over 20 pushups (all on knees) yesterday in bodyattack class, I've NEVER done so many in my life. I can definitely feel it in my shoulers today. Ouch!! I also made up for all the j'jacks I skipped last week! Yay!

I have very long legs, 36" inseam, and AE jeans touch the floor. Also Alloy and Delia's both carry long jeans, I know they catalogue is for teenagers but WHATEVER, they fit! I wish I knew about this when I was a teen, I spent the majority of my school years in high waters!
