My oldest is in pre-K and only goes half days so we just pack him an afternoon snack.. always a fruit or veg, a bottle of water, a cheese string and a snack of his choice (often times cookies, yogurt or fruit snacks).. but he's MY kid and those are things I'd like him to eat. My 4 year old was missing for 20 minutes in Target.. it seems harmless, but when you're a mom and you don't know where your child is for 20 minutes, it's terrifying. The staff blocked the exits to the store and had to clear each department one by one to find him. I think my heart was stopped the entire time.

Cabbage soup is yummy.. cabbage soup every day for a week, not so much.

I lost about 75 lbs 2.5-3 years ago, became pregnant again and gained back 30-40 lbs. Baby is turning 2 in February and I've finally found the discipline and determination to get myself back on track and aiming to lose a little more :smile:

I hit 20 lbs lost today :D Definitely an awesome scale victory and enough to keep me motivated to avoid all these halloween treats my kiddos have laying around :wink:

I'm another vote for pre-logging foods before eating :) I usually pre-plan my next day's meals the night before, I leave myself some wiggle room but it really helps me to know what I'm going to be eating at certain times throughout the day.. gives less room for tempting impulse choices to break through.

Wow, that's really interesting! I too have IBD (crohn's) and hypermobility, I also seem to develop hip dysplasia intermittently. I wasn't aware of the correlation between the 2!
