  • Alinos31, I have a very similar scenario. I quit smoking on Nov 4th weighing 160, down from 180 (lost between Feb and Nov) and now in December 6 weeks after I quit, I have gained most of it back. My inital weight loss was straight forward using a 500 calorie deficit and I plan to follow that again. I have decided that I…
  • half a banana (sometimes) few ounces of unsweetened vanilla almond milk container of vanilla greek yogurt, frozen 2 tbsp of peanut butter vanilla protein powder I can barely tolerate the banana because I not stand any drink that is fruit flavored. I love peanut butter so this is the only smoothie type thing I can drink.
  • Grapes & Sweet potatoes.....
  • When I eat out I ask for a to-go container WHEN my food is delivered and before I take a bite, I go ahead and remove the "extra" portion for my next meal & eat what is left on my plate. I don't like to eat from partially eaten food. Just my thing.
  • I'm not a sweaty person. At most I get a little sheen, but never drippy sweaty. But I over-heat really fast and have had heat exhaustion three times. Dr says nothing is wrong with me physically, has checked everything, it's just the way I am.
  • Walden farms has Peanut Spread, not Peanut Butter. It contains 12 ingredients, none of which are actual peanuts. I just couldn't eat it, the texture and chemical odor turned me off. I also tried Better'n Peanut Butter, which is better tasting although not calorie free, but the ingredients are identifiable. I just fit in…
  • When I was competitive, my mother used to call me "The Shoulders", as in "Here comes The Shoulders, ask her if she's going shopping too". Made me very self conscious about them and for years i wouldn't wear sleeveless or heaven forbid, halter anything. Ever. I don't know why it bothered me so much. My competitive group was…
  • I made Smoked Gouda grits with thick cut bacon. Fresh sliced tomatoes on the side. http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/smoked-gouda-grits-10000000354011/
  • Yep....I'm the same, disproportionate. I'm tall with freakishly long arms & legs, but broad, cut shoulders. My shoulders and forearms are always defined and they don't match the rest of my body which is NOT defined. As an older lady, it looks weird to have cut pecs & delts and then just skinny long arms & legs. Anything…
  • We did an elf sort of thing way before there was "elf on the shelf". Ours was more of a blend between scavenger hunt & advent count down. We spent alot of time making up clues, but my kids loved it and my parents did it for me. We did birthday parties with their friends for 5, 6, 7 & 8 yr b'days, others were family/close…
  • None with the first two pregnancies, one weird one with the third pregnancy. My sister got them all over with her pregnancies.
  • I think this is it... http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/912920-in-place-of-a-road-map-3-2013
  • Hi, I have a Fitbit One as well. Anyone can add me on both MFP & Fitbit if you want to! //www.fitbit.com/user/26NTV4
  • I take it & I count it on my diary.
  • Or get one of those clear mats they put under rolling chairs in offices. It's portable & skinny enough to slide behind an armoire or dresser. I've also used race track leftover from a garage makeover. It's like the foam puzzle pieces, but is rigid.
  • Fried pork chops Sushi Fried pork chops
  • You are awesome! Way to go girl!!!
  • Hey Bobbie! It's hard for full time working mom's to find time for anything that is for themselves. What finally motivated me to carve out, squeeze in, FIND the time was this: I have to take care of me, to be able to take care of the kids. If you and your daughter start logging your food & paying attention to calories then…
  • Thanks, all. The joint pain is mostly my hands, my grip is crap, dr said arthritis from old injury so we treat it as such, but I don't have limitations. Because my grip sucks, I mostly use machines so I won't drop. When I'm not l limping around whining about how much I ache from whatever NON-exercise activity I killed…
  • Thanks, James. Logically I know this, but I think I've turned in a weenie about pain in my old age. Going to make myself work through it slowly.
  • Nothing is better than a long hot soak in the jacuzzi tub followed up with a shower. Because who really washes their hair in the bathtub? But it's great for cleaning the shelves in my fridge and other large items like toddlers.
  • Instead of a sandwich my daughter likes a flour tortilla with a tiny bit of cream cheese spread on it rolled up with ham or turkey. Fruit & cut veggies are nice. An apple cored & sliced into rounds with pb spread between two round is my favorite.
  • I love it! Getting an exercise room (or at least they are starting next week!) and I wondered what is the mat under your bench? Is it rubber? I need something under my double stack.
  • I have worn dr prescribed & created arch insoles for years, for PF, but nothing like you have been thru though. I did the same sort of thing, went to a running store, got fitted, etc.....I can't seem to wear my Brooks with my prescribed insoles, they kill my feet. So I figured that maybe I just don't need them with this…
  • Add me please! I'm going to figure out the picture thing tonight so I can be ready.
  • I have a contractor starting next week to turn my dungeon into an exercise room. I'm so excited!!! I have various pieces of equipment scattered all over the basement & some upstairs. My husband still seems to think he's getting a man-cave even though I've already moved the universal machine into the empty area so the can…
  • I have eaten a tablespoon of coconut oil everyday for 6 years. Had overgrowth with flares for several years prior. My dr suggested it and it's kept it down. I also recently started probiotics, but for other reasons.
  • Nothing to admit to.....they hire who they want to pay. She was told if she could cover up the tats (pretty much impossible, she's covered head to toe) & remove her piercings to come back and try again. More than once.
