Amazing!!! Thank you for sharing. You are an inspiration. I just started my journey on 01 March. The past 12 days have been frustrating at best. Weight fluctuations are the worse part. In fact, today I weighed more than 01 March when I started. Although it appears my measurements are smaller but about 1/4 inch everywhere.…

I have a similar issue. I have a neighbor who frequently invites me for coffee. But it's never just coffee. She always has a spread of food. Even if you stop by unexpectedly, the food comes out. She is from Macedonia, and that's how they roll. Luckily the food is normally healthy homemade food with tons of veggies and I…

I am on day 8.... The scale went down 1 pound in the first 3 days... Then back up 1.5 pounds and now today... Exact same as I started 8 days ago. I have been logging everything and staying within the calorie intake. Exercising every day. Very frustrating. So I measured this morning... And my measurements are down approx…

Add me if you wish. I just started a week ago. I have 40 to lose. You don't need a gym membership to exercise..... A pair of running shoes and some motivation is a great start!!!

Me! Me! Me! Add me!!!! We can do this!!!

Awesome!!!!!
-
Add me if you wish. I definitely need the support and motivation as well.

I got my Fitbit for Xmas and just started using it on 01 March. Still trying to figure it out... I'm not tech savvy at all. But add me if you wish... And then tell me how to do add others please.

I went to my first Zumba class two days ago. It was so discouraging. I was definitely one of the oldest and largest one there. Plus the fact that I have absolutely no coordination doesn't help. All I could think of was that somehow someone was videoing it and it was gonna end up on YouTube of the old fat lady doing Zumba.…

I don't any words of wisdom... Yet! I just started again on 01 March. The first 3 days I lost a pound.... Then on the 4th day, I was up 1.5 pounds. I was so frustrated and wanted to just grab the bag of chips and dip and be satisfied with the thought I will be overweight for the rest of my life now. But.... I came on to…

I just started as well today. Had breakfast for the first time in years. Granola and skim milk. And went to a Body Pump Class. Baby Steps!!!! Tonight I have a dinner out at our favorite Greek restaurant. I plan on a Greek salad and some tzaziki..... But I look at it this way..... Yesterday I would have skipped breakfast,…

I am just coming back after two years. The last couple of months have been too much eating, not enough exercise... Although even before the last couple of months, I hadn't been very good. But it's a new day. Just reactivated my account. Now to get down to business. I have no excuses.

You look amazing! I am 47, 3 children, and have about 40 PDS to lose. Do you mind if I friend you? Would love to see what you ate in a typical day.

Congrats!!!!

Good for you!!!!!!!! :flowerforyou:

Congrats on the quitting smoking! I joined MFP 6 Jul and decided to quit 23 Jul. I haven't lost any weight since quitting, but haven't gained either. It's great to be able to breathe in without coughing!!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!

Thanks for your input and help. So what does it mean by eat "clean"? I know that from my diary, my eating sucks. But it's a lot better than before. I used to go one or two days and then eat one meal. So I have improved. After 48 years of bad eating habits, it is hard to break. And I smoked for 30 yrs and just quit that on…

I didn't realize that 2lb per week is for someone needing to lose 100 pds. I am 5 ft 0 inches.... 160 pds.... so I do have a lot of weight to lose. I set it to sedentary because I don't work. I don't sit on the couch all day but I don't have a regular job. I did have it at Lightly Active at first, but since I wasn't losing…

I know exactly what you mean. Although I didn't lose 24 pds yet. I lost 5 and then quit smoking as part of my get healthy plan. I am starting week 6 of being a non smoker. I haven't gained anything but I am not going down either. Kinda depressing......
-
Have you measured yourself? Seems like you are doing a lot....
-
WOW! 32 pds in a month. How did you do it?
-
This is funny. Regardless of what anyone believe, I wont be telling my spouse. Otherwise he will use it as an excuse to go out riding all day and call it exercising instead of what it really is..... fun times.
-
I'm on day 8 of being a non smoker after 30 years. I got a carton of smokes (10 pks) sitting here that I guess I should just throw away as well. Congrats.......... keep up the great work.

Give it a few days...... then when your gf smokes, you will be able to actually smell how disgusting it really is. When you are a smoker, you don't smell it. It actually helps me to want to stay not smoking. I find the only time I want a smoke is when the times I always had a smoke.... ie. with coffee..... after a…
