I'm definitely 40 something (45 to be exact). I'm 5'9" and mom of 4. My oldest daughter is grown and on her own (she's 22). And I have three kids at home - my son is 13 and my daughters are 8 and 4. I'm here mostly to get healthy but a little bit of vanity, too. I didn't have a weight problem until I quit working at age 37…

Way to go!

I'm excited but feel bad, too. Either name sounds good to me.

If anyone wants to friend me, I'm DEFINITELY doing it for July. I did it Saturday, but was busy Sunday and yesterday so I am restarting today.

I am focusing on exercise this week. I find that when I put in the time to exercise, I'm much more likely to make good food choices. I'm doing the 30 day shred, and trying to get at least 12,000 steps on my pedometer everyday. Hope everyone has a good week!

Me. My 13 yo son has NLD (nonverbal learning disorder which totally affects all aspects of his life), ADHD, anxiety, and sensory issues (and allergies and asthma). My 8 yo daughter has high-functioning autism and lots of sensory issues. They've totally redefined my view on life. I am such a better person because of them.…

I have four children, three at home ages 13, 8, and 4. They truly are my motivation, since I need to be here for them and I'm an older mom. If anyone needs motivation and support, feel free to friend me.

189.5 Only down 1/2 a pound, but it puts me in the 180s which feels good (and motivating).

Thanks so much for this great list!

Thanks for letting me join this challenge! I'm hoping to be a lot thinner by the time the kids start back to school in September. I'm a SAHM, so it's actually easier for me to lose weight in the summer with the kids pulling me in every direction. I could use more friends for motivation and support (both ways) if anyone…

I'm 5'9" and would like to hit 147. This was the weight I was most of my life before my 3rd and 4th pregnancies. I've gotten down to 125, but that's just too skinny for me now.
-
Is it too late to join this challenge? I'd really like one that goes for the summer.

I don't think they are all bad. Trader Joe's Fat Free Balsamic Vinagrette is my favorite.

You are an inspiration and look fabulous! Thanks for sharing your story!

I'm restarting this today, too. Hopefully I'll be able to stick with it this time for the 30 days to see if it's really working.

Yogurt, peanut butter, cucumbers, and bananas. They are my go to foods.

Way to go! You look fantastic!

I had to weigh myself (the scale calls my name). I'm down another 2 (to 190) for a total of 4 since I started this challenge. Going to try to get 15,000 steps in for the next 5 days.

Not sure about the emails, but when you go to "Community" if you look at the top, there are different tabs - Home, Recent Posts, My Topics, Signature, Search. Click on "My Topics" to find the ones you've responded on. HTH.

I'm ready for a great week! And I'm pretty sure I can do this if I keep my mind on it. Weekly Goal: 3500 Mon: calories burned (how they were burned) Tues: calories burned (how they were burned) Wed: calories burned (how they were burned) Thur:calories burned (how they were burned) Fri: calories burned (how they were…

Sounds yummy. Going to try it this weekend.

What a big difference! You look great! Keep up the awesome work!

Current Weight 192 - I'm down 2 pounds. I'm not going to weigh til next Friday (10 days), so I'm hoping for a good loss next time.
-
You look gorgeous and skinny! You look way less than 220!
-
You are beautiful! There's definitely a noticable difference - you're doing great!

I'm in. I've done it for about 2 weeks before and then stopped. I use 5 pound weights and was really sore the first few days. Hopefully I'll be able to stick with it this time.
