Oh, well, if a doctor said it, let me know when blood letting makes its comeback in scientific circles. Personally, I like pork. Rigger

I didn't get much past "personal trainer" Google a TDEE calculator, fill in the boxes honestly and hit calculate. This will give you a good baseline and you can tinker with it from there based on your own observations over time. Personal trainer and nutritional advice, that's a good one. Rigger

A serving of peanut butter usually does the trick, but personally I don't buy the mantra of not being hungry when you have consumed so few calories. If that's the case you are either eating more than you think or you're lying to yourself. Rigger

That's an expensive set of Tupperware, honestly some Ziploc containers and a food scale are just as effective, and a lot less money and hassle. I haven't yet had the checker at my grocery store call me up and try to sell me supplements and workout plans under the label of a coach. Rigger

He probably just needed a place to do curls, you should have known to just move aside, clearly you were using the rack for squats, which it was never intended for. :grumble: Next time you'll know better. Rigger

Sugar is just a carb, I don't even bother tracking it, neither should you, because there is no reason to fear sugar, just track carbs. Rigger

NO. 25-30 pounds is doable in that time frame given your size and age, but 80, absolutely not without removal of limbs. Rigger

You know what you call the dunce that finished last in his class at med school?.....................................Doctor. OP, It's common for athletes to have resting heart rates in the fifties, and some even in the forties. Weight loss combined with increased cardio will do this, if you have been at it for a few months…

A life without cookies and ice cream is no life at all, this "diet" of yours sounds miserable, and just waiting to fail. Rigger

Fact: Just because the NFL inked an advertising deal with Advocare does not mean it's a worthwhile product. Rigger

Personally I don't use them, I think they have their place, holding the door open on a hot day for instance. Rigger

4 ounces per hour is what's taught in SERE school, seems to work just fine, on the other hand, during BUD/s it's easily four times that amount in addition to whatever pool/ocean water you inadvertently swallow throughout the day. Five liters per day is a lot of water, too much in my opinion. Rigger

There's no "typically" about it. Calorie deficit+C25K does not produce muscle gain in any universe inhabited by man, building muscle is hard work both in the gym and at the table, it does not happen by accident. OP, as the previous poster said weight loss is not linear, and 12 pounds in a month is shockingly fast, and is…

That's one I'll buy, her site is awesome, so many good recipes. Rigger

While McDonalds is not my first choice, or even in the top ten for a cheeseburger, said sandwich still has a pretty good macro balance. Depending on where you go, and what's on the burger, a double bacon cheeseburger is a pretty dang good choice. I'm not saying that you're not missing out on some micro's, but you can be…

Why wouldn't you track it? Rigger

3-4 eggs scrambled with ham, green peppers, jalapenos, onion, spinach and cheese with a toasted English muffin and apricot jam? comes to about 550-600 calories, good macros, very satisfying. depending on specific foods. any other variation on the theme of scrambled eggs with meat and veggies is also good to go. Nope, I like pizza, it has great macro balance, and it tastes good, and I couldn't live without sugar in my life. Rigger

If I'm being generous that's around 1000 calories a day, at your height and weight you need double that. I'm 5'11" and I cut on 2500 a day. You need more calories. Rigger

Why all the fear of pizza? Pizza has a pretty good macro balance and nutrient density, so do cheese burgers for that matter. Don't fear the food. Pizza, or potato chips, or candy bars are not the problem, the problem is your lack of self control. That's something your going to have to address, because the fact of the…

Part of it is going to be water retention for muscle repair. If you're not in a surplus you're not gaining muscle or fat, are you in a surplus? Rigger

Yup, love fishing, trout and salmon are my favorite to both catch and eat. My favorite method used to be with a fly rod, now I just can't get enough cold weather, I love pulling them through the ice. Rigger

I second the pinched nerve, as someone who has had multiple surgeries to fix a messed up back I'll just say this, if you start feeling any pain or numbness radiating down your extremities get to a doctor and have an MRI done immediately, DO NOT WAIT! Bulging discs become ruptured discs and that sucks. If the pain goes away…

Male 31 5'11" current weight 208 Max Bench: 265 Max Squat: 335 Max Deadlift: 455 These were two weeks and three weeks ago, I'm back to cutting as of this week unfortunately, so I won't test again for another six months at least. Rigger

Only way to tighten arms that I know of is through surgery, a good orthopedic surgeon should be able to fix any torn tendons right up. Now if you mean you would like them to be more defined then you need to continue cutting to remove the remaining fat, and if you're still not satisfied then it's bulking-thirty. Rigger
