The barbell! Rigger

Wow, really? So much fear and ignorance in three little lines. Do you know what's in all food? Chemicals, one of the compounds in an apple is arsenic, that's pretty toxic. Don't fear fast food. Rigger

Any heavy compound movement done with poor form can tweak your back, deads just get a bad name because it's and incredibly heavy and complex movement that people think is just picking something off the floor. They bend at the hip, round their back, turkey neck and try to jerk the bar off the floor, never once considering…

I like some chocolate, or some other sugary snack, maybe an energy drink for some caffeine, and a bit of music to get me in the mood, then I sort of stare at the weights for a bit so that they know, and I know that I'm about to rock their world and there's nothing they can do to stop me. Rigger

It's not, It's horse$#!^ and it's a VLCD, which makes it an especially bad idea. Besides, you don't have a lot of weight to lose. Your best course of action is to lift heavy, eat moderately, and do a little cardio if you want, but you should run from this "diet" as fast as you can. But hey, you're going to do what you want…

I still have MRE's from time to time, my favorite is the beef stew, also love the chili mac with jalapeno cheese, and the lemon poundcake is delicious so long as you have a full Camelbak to wash it down. Break out a case and watch the horse-trading begin, good times. Rigger

What exactly is unhealthy? raw sewage? Listen, skipping a meal is not going to kill you, I do it every day, sometimes skipping two meals a day. Likewise, a Big Mac is not unhealthy either. Think about it, you're still getting carbs, protein and fat, and depending on what you get, it's in good balance too. Don't buy into…

When I was in the military, a typical training day would consist of roughly 4-6000 calories minimum. How many times are you going to run the O-course to burn those calories?
-
Harvest and hand-grind wheat for flour, harvest and hand chop tomatoes and herbs for marinara, harvest yet more veggies for toppings, butcher and grind pig, stuff sausage casing by hand and smoke pepperoni, milk cow and make mozzarella, assemble, bake and viola, negative calorie pizza. Rigger

25.4, overweight, which is absurd, just like BMI in general. Rigger

I'd get a bowl of clam chowder at every joint I could. Rigger

Personally I'd do more weight lifting and less cardio, but whatever floats your boat. Rigger

You need a barbell, plates, and a rack of some kind that'll allow you to do presses and squats. I picked up a combo rack, bar, and 465 pounds of plates used for $150 used, added a second bar for $50, two pairs of dumbell bars, a curl bar and 165 pounds of plates for $75 and an incline/decline bench for $25. It's a pretty…

if you want to get to the six pack you have to unload all the groceries. They always put the six pack at the bottom of the bag. Rigger

All good points, you're also not thrusting your hips forward near the top, and your posture slouches at the top hold which tells me you're probably not engaging your glutes. Rigger

Eight count body builders, front squats, sprints on squat day. Rigger

It's because your core and stabilizer muscles are not strong enough to support the movement pattern. It's a very common problem among adults. The way I have taught people to correct it is to simply get into the proper squat position without weight. Use a broomstick or something like it to simulate a bar, and simply get…

I run 40%C 30%P 30%F and typically try to get more carbs on lifting days, more protein on rest days. Other than that I just eat 1-2 meals in my feeding window. Rigger
-
Because sugar is a carb, when you input exercise your calorie goal changes, and carbs are a prime source of energy. I'd quit tracking sugar and just track carbs instead. Rigger

Sounds like a positively horrifying week, but hey, malnutrition for the win! Rigger

My lifting buddy is doing 5:2, he's losing weight just fine, but his lifts aren't progressing as well as they otherwise should. I am doing 16:8 and am cutting slightly slower than he is, yet my progress on the iron is much better. Anecdotal, but still something I have noticed. Rigger

Sugar is just a carb, don't fear sugar. Rigger

Actually I do use food grade, and I buy it at Cal Ranch, they carry both, and so does IFA and Tractor Supply. I still wouldn't eat the stuff. Rigger
-
I spread it in my chicken coop and on my compost pile. I also mix it with water for my chickens every six months for de-worming. But would I eat the stuff, why? What would it do other than keep me worm free? Rigger

Why would having McDonalds be considered a "slip" in your book? There's nothing wrong with McDonalds, or any other fast food. Op, no worries, it's just food. It's not a bad start, or even a bad choice, carry on, and eat McDonalds. Rigger

Yup, every bit of this. Rigger

So, 240 minutes, minus drive time, 18 sets puts him at around 11 minutes per set. Even when I'm doing heavy deadlifts it doesn't take me 11 minutes per set. I can spend a solid 15-20 minutes doing an intense deadlift, squat, or clean routine, but if he's doing a split I don't see a lot of long winded sets. Maybe 3-4…

As previously stated, you just push through, you simply have to want it more, mind over matter and all that jazz. Rigger

It's water and waste weight. Rigger
