Fasting doesn't cure cancer, cleanses don't cleanse anything, that's what the liver and kidneys do. Fasting for more than a day is not the greatest idea in the world, in fact, I don't recommend fasting for even a day. Good luck though. Rigger

I just can't do farm raised trout, trout is all we pull out of these high mountain streams in Utah. But I will try your recipe, it sounds great. Rigger

You and me both brother. OP, you just need a temporarily smaller waist and a bigger neck. Rigger

.9 pounds a week sounds healthy to me, and it's moving in the right direction, so what's the problem? Rigger

I set mine at 40/30/30 and try to hit my protein macro early. If I do, that usually means I hit my fat macro as well, then I can get the rest of my calories from carbs which usually puts me close. Only thing I do different is that on my game days I focus more on carbs but still try to be at 75% of my protein macro on those…

I don't think you know enough about the world to determine who is doing "better" than anyone else, or by what measure that determination can be made. I think your conclusions are all the evidence I need to know that I don't want your advice guiding my decisions. Thanks for playing though. Rigger

Well, if this is the case then few prople on this forum should take your advice because by your own metric, you're not doing better than many of us. So, in that vein, I'm going to refrain from taking your advice regarding taking advice from those not doing better than me, because the fact is, good advice comes from all…

Yup, this, get on a heavy compound lifting program like 5X5 or Starting Strength and up your calories. Rigger

You just need to get a weight waiver, as long as you pass the BS body fat measurement they'll waiver you up to 10% bodyweight. As far as losing 10 pounds in 15 days, there is no healthy way to do it, and cutting off body parts will disqualify you from service as well. Rigger

3-2 breathing made the difference for me. it's a three step inhale and two step exhale. Keeps your breathing regular and your exhale on alternating feet in your stride which provides balance to diaphragm constriction. There's an old article in RunnersWorld, I found it online, just google running breathing technique. Rigger

I did, and it's pretty much spot on. FWIW, My best friends little sister is a Crossfit coach, and I wouldn't listen to a word she had to say, than again, his little brother is a personal trainer and is equally full of *&^%. Rigger

Meh, It's certainly better than sitting on the couch, and it is an interesting way of meshing light weight lifting with heavy cardio, not for me though. I can't help but laugh when I see them do "pull-ups" though. I could do 100 of them too if I were kicking my guts out to get up there. There are a few hardcore Crossffit…

Better for what? Protein powder is a supplement, and Slim Slow is a can full of chemicals that claims to have magic powers. What are you looking to do with them? Rigger

Yes, and when that happens, I go get a nice big juicy burger. Five Guys is highly recommended. Also can't go wrong with Wendy's or BK. Rigger

Nothing wrong with that. I'm planning on a BB with chicken, steak, fajita veggies, black beans and rice for Wednesday. As long as it fits your calorie goal and macros any food is good to go. Rigger

Squats, both front and back, deadlifts, calf raises and box jumps. Rigger

Commit to logging all your food, weigh all your food, stay the course when things don't seem to be going well, don't deny yourself the foods you like, no food is inherently "uh-healthy" and just give it time, it's not a race. Rigger

Every day, multiple times a day. Rigger

These things do cause weight loss, trouble is they are targeted to remove the weight from only one place, your wallet. Rigger

No! Just No! Rigger

The two near me (Utah County, Utah) have been serving breakfast for nearly a year, trouble is I never seem to be near one at the right time of day. Rigger

Not sure why you're ranting about fast food, no one put a gun to your head. Fast food is not the problem in this equation, the problem is your breakdown in self control. Rigger

This is not a factual statement, fat and sugar won't make you gain weight unless there is a surplus. Rigger

Not at all. Rigger

Calorie deficit is what matters. I have chocolate, cookies, ice cream, most successful people on here do too. Chocolate is just fine. Rigger
