Wow, congrats on losing the healthy way! I can't imagine how hard you've worked to overcome you eating disorder. You are truly inspiring!

I also found running outside much easier, especially on the knees. There was some intimidation about running outside, I think it was because people could see me working out and it took a while to be comfortable with that concept.

My suggestion would be to bring your running clothes with you in the morning and run right after you are done work....a quick change back to street clothes and a freshen up in the bathroom and you're ready to pick your son up. Maybe when the weather is not so nice a brisk walk up hill if you can find one.

Just for today I will not eat the birthday cake at work!

a regular portion of anything at a family get together, instead I ate a spoonful of all the regulars - potato salad, greek pasta salad, key lime pie, etc....it could have been a disaster but instead I saved up calories from lunch and ended up only 52 over for the day...success!
