I've found that eating healthily can actually be cheaper. For example, this is what I'm eating for the week: Breakfast: eggs ($2 for dozen) or "lean" breakfast burritos (on sale for $1.65 each, bought three) Lunches and dinners: chicken salads consisting of grilled chicken breast ($1.99/lb * 4.5 lbs, around $9), spring mix…

If you like potatoes, then sweet potatoes (baked) and butternut squash (peeled, chopped into 1 inch chunks, and baked) should be palatable for you.

Happy Monday! Unfortunately, my goals this week are more work-oriented and less fitness-oriented (it's going to be a busy week!), but I want to stay under my weekly calorie limit despite having a friend over this weekend and work out at least 3 times this week. Have a good week!

Oh my gosh I'm literally dying of laughter!

Losing at a rate of a pound per week for 85 days would put you at 12 pounds lost already, so that's only 5 more than you were expected to lose. You could just be holding some extra water weight at the time that you weighed, which could easily account for those 5 pounds. Also, have you checked to make sure your starting…

I have the same problem, often triggered by sudden movements as well. Sometimes, I can get the episodes to go away if I lay down for a few minutes. I have had the episodes last hours though. My first one happened when I was 12. I went to the doctor and they concluded it was dehydration, but I wasn't convinced as to this…

I had a fabulous breakfast this morning. I had steel cut organic oatmeal with a tbsp. of peanut butter and a packet of Truvia mixed into it. I also boiled two eggs, but was so full after the oatmeal that I could only eat one. I'd say it was the perfect mix of fat, carbs, and proteins for me. Who says you can't have them…

Thank you everyone for your replies! Everyone had some great ideas. I believe I will start with turkey chili and shredded taco chicken. Thank you again for the much needed inspiration!

I've never been to Hawaii so I'm pretty excited! Right now, I stick to mainly cardio (usually treadmill, elliptical, and stepper, sometimes swimming and tennis) and when I get further along in my weight loss (I'm only 8 lbs. down), I will add in weights.

1. Weight: Lose 8 lbs (which puts me back into the 160's!) 2. Exercise: work out at least 4 times a week, every week, even on vacation!
