Calorie reduction and common sense to eat things that are good for you.

I've lost 12.7 pounds in 28 days, or .45 pounds per day. Of course it isn't coming off as fast as it did in the first week when I lost 8.7 pounds.

I personally do not eat if I'm not hungry, even if I am under my calorie goal. I figure part of the healthy lifestyle process is learning to eat when you're hungry and not eat when you're not. Thank you so much for posting. I just signed up for a 5K at the end of August and have NEVER been a runner. I am going to start training like you mentioned...run-walk-run. Having read your post I really feel like I might be able to do it. You should be very proud of yourself :)
