I've pretty much stopped drinking sodas too and I had a glass of root beer today and got the worst headache from it!! It's a good thing and a bad thing all at the same time..guess I'll just stick with water! :)

Yay Michigan!! haha..I so can't wait for spring! :) Or even 40 degree weather! This snow is killing me
-
I've wondered the same thing! I do that almost every day and can get between 4 and 4.5 miles..if it's accurate, I'm excited!! :)
-
I've been doing 5lb weights..just doing curls and whatnot with the remote in my pocket. I think I'll go to my 10lb weights next week. You'll feel a HUGE difference once you add the weights!
-
Something I've started doing with my Wii Fit is doing the 30 "Free Run" and lifting light weights while doing it. I found that it REALLY pumped up the workout!!
-
Fellow teacher here..I'm trying to avoid that 20+ lbs I gain EVERY school year and slowly take off during the summer months..I gained about 15, and was able to get back to eating healthier and excersizing and it's slowly coming back down again! Woohoo!
-
Honestly, I didn't even notice a different between the "overweight" Mii and the "normal" Mii..I'm sure that there is a slight different, but I didn't see it. I'll be weighing in tomorrow, I hope that I'm still "normal" haha..

I like putting parmesan cheese on it..it smells bad but tastes SOOO good!
-
haha..me too!! But I was very happy with it today, so it is forgiven :)
-
I would see if you could find a 3rd scale and try it out..hopefully it won't be completely different too..then you'd be REALLY screwed!! haha... Oh, and I like your stamp system!!
-
My scale and Wii Fit were really close, so maybe your scale is way off..I don't know! The only reason I continue to do the body tests is because I'm way OCD and like all my stamps to be the stupid blue star..it would bug if me they were all different..haha..yes, I'm that sad!
-
I don't know how accurate that whole "age" thing is..I'll be 29 one day 44 then next, then back in the 30's, it's so random!
-
HAHA...yeah, I meant to say that my WEIGHT is normally..definitely not a description of my personality ;)
-
You were very smart to not deprive yourself of pizza if that is something you really like! In the end, you would probably end up binging and eating a lot more than you normally would..or least, that's what happens to me. It's all about moderation, and it sounds like you're practicing that! Good work!!!
-
Hey Soup! Haven't seen you in a while..dang, you're doing AWESOME!! You're almost there! Keep it up!
-
So, I've been doing the Wii Fit everyday for a month now and watching my food portions. Every time I went to weigh in on the Wii Fit, I was always on the border of "Overweight" and "Normal" and I FINALLY stepped on today and it said I was "Normal" weight! YAY!! It was such a good feeling!

Hey there! Good to see you back! I'm just getting back on here myself, I had a crazy few months and fell off the face of the Earth for a bit, but I'm back. Just think of it one day at a time, motivate yourself do it today, don't worry about every other day. I think that's what is keeping me going right now. I also got the…

My favorite pose is "Child's pose"...least favorite "DOWNWARD DOG!!" I know it's a great full body workout, but ugh!!!

Hey there! Long time no talk! Yeah, I was crazy busy during the fall semester, I was teaching all day at the elementary school, going to the high school to work on their musical for a couple hours, then coming home and finishing up my Master's work! I feel like I'm starting to join the land of the living again! Haha..Best…

OMG! I LOVE friends!! :) My favorite episode was when everyone was finding out about Chandler and Monica and Phoebe tries to "seduce" Chandler..haha...SOOO funny!!

According to my DVR, Biggest Loser is still playing tomorrow night. The Inauguration Ball is going to be on ABC, so it looks like we're good to go. I just hate that Biggest Loser and American Idol are on at the same time. I've been watching Idol live and DVRing Biggest Loser and watching it the next day. Ugh! Too many good…

I think you're goal should be to make your meals as "normal" as possible. Unfortunately, most of us (myself included) feel that when we need to loose weight, we need to deprive ourselves of all the "normal" foods and only eat certain things. The reality is, this isn't something we can do for the rest of our lives and as…

I know! It happens every year..but not this year..I'm hoping to stop it at 10! ;)

It has been a while..I was REALLY busy during the fall (finishing up my master's) so I didn't come on much..I'm starting to rejoin the land of the living again :)

Teacher here too..I'm glad you posted this, I have trouble too. I teach elementary music and have ZERO time in between classes to get set up, let alone eat anything, but I could try some power bars, or something similar. I'm trying to avoiding gaining all of the 20ish pounds I gain throughout the school year!! I'm hoping…

I have used mine everyday since Christmas and I've been sore a few times! A lot of the yoga and strength training will make you sore at first. The games are fun, but I don't think they'll help with weight loss. The jogging, step and hula hoop can be good cardio work outs too! Have fun!!

I hear what you're saying on this and have had many "questions" myself. For example, is it better to eat a whole wheat slice of bread that is 130 calories per slice, but it more nutritional, or have the 65 calorie per slice bread that has no nutrition because it has less calories. Or drinking diet sodas because they have…

I hear ya! I'll be 30 in September and I'm depressed already!! AHH!

I found a recipe that was AMAZING..I put mayo, mustard and garlic-pesto sauce. Then, add sliced tomato and lettuce. It was really great!

A lot of the big chain restaurants have nutrition facts posted on their websites. I would find out some places near the hotel that you might go eat at and do some homework ahead of time. You can look for some of the lower calorie dishes, so when you get to the restaurant, you'll know what the damage is! Even if you can't…
