  • Yum! sounds delish - love ground turkey, and my menfolk will happily eat it too. That in itself is a megabonus LOL
  • Got my copy of 30DS this week, just need to sort some weights. Thought I could use baked bean cans in the meantime LOL. Might check out LA Fitness methinks, thanks for the heads up there. Do we have a group start date yet?
  • Geez where the heck was everyone when I asked where all the Kiwis were the other day???? LOL, I'm Monica in Ashburton. Please everyone add me so we can keep in touch and motivate eachother. xxxxx
  • I totally sympathise - the female line in my family is also rampant with overweight, diabetes, depression and everything else that goes along with those.......I REFUSE to follow that path any longer and want to give you a huge thumbs up for not toeing the line with regard to what your environment and family deems to be…
  • Wowsers! what an amazing transformation! Fantastic effort - don't try and lose too much more, you look awesome right now :o)
  • NOOOOOO!! Delia don't do the burger and fries! LOL don't sabotage your hard work sofar! Plateaus just mean you need to change something to kick start again - your body has gotten used to whatever you were doing and needs a rev up. Try swapping some of your foods around, change your workout routine, make some kind of change…
  • Hi Jessica, yes I'm new second time round as well. joined in February but a hell year has kept me unfocused. Back to stay the course this time. Monica
  • Right there with ya. I'll be 50 in 2 years too (4'11"), and I SWEAR all this blubber will be goneburgers by then. I'm going to celebrate my 50th a svelte 60kg, mark my words. 3 pounds down and 57 to go!
  • Maybe try adjusting your protein intake in your evening meal - this generally only happens to me when I've had too many carbs and not enough protein. Water will help.
  • If you're ready to be the best you possible, I"m ready to help you get us both there. I too am wanting to lose 60lbs, would love to think it's possible in 7 months and willing to believe it. Lets keep eachother accountable and DO THIS!
  • I LOVE Campbells Chunky Irish Stew, which is 98% fat-free - my favourite warmer (it's still cold here....) is 2 cups of peas/broccoli/spinach and a half can of stew stirred in - delish! so that's what I'm having :o)
  • Hi Lynne, welcome, you're in great company!
  • Fantastic! what a great result for your first week :o) I joined in February but had some majors in my life that kept me off track. Back on the road to great health now, happy to support you along the way to yours.
  • Hi Cora, your body needs the nutrients, fibre and antioxidants in fresh fruit - keep them in your diet but just don't go crazy with them. Natural fruit sugars are fine, it's the over processed dead sugars that you want to be keeping out. Hope this helps.
  • I"m planning on shedding 60lb, am also going to need all the support I can get. Accountability is my biggest problem - need buddies to be accountable to and supportive of for me to be able to see this through. Add me as a friend and we can stick it out together :o) LETS DO THIS!
  • I am, roughly roundabout. I have about 60lbs to drop and just at the start of my journey. About to start 30DS as well. Add me if you like
  • Yep, 4 11 here as well, but large framed (go figure) blame my germanic ancestry LOL. Starting out at 192 this week :ohwell: SugarDiva i'd KILL to get down to your range!
