I like strawberries and melon with yogurt :-)

East Midlands, woo! Feel free to add me

My sister had a back operation, and has a huge scar running from her shoulders to her waist (down her spine). If people commented, she used to tell them she had a "back job" - she used to be twice the size she is now, but they cut her in half and removed her fat, then sewed her back together.

Well done! You should be proud of yourself :-)

Walk past the chip shop on the way home and not be tempted

I don't understand the obsession with Nutella either. I've had a jar in my cupboard for months, as my boyfriend likes it so I bought it for him. It's OK on toast, but other things are better. But eaten straight out of the jar it's horrible.

I will pre-log so that I can see if what I plan to eat actually fits. It's easier to change one thing if it's too high in cals (or fat etc) before you've eaten it, rather than having to adjust everything else afterwards.

I tried to - I took a defibrillator to someone having a heart attack, but by the time I got there the ambulance was already there.

iI find that having hot chocolate helps - if you get the "just add water" ones then they can have as few as 40 calories (Highlights, Options etc) though there are even more around that have about 100 cals.

Cantaloupe melons! And my bird loves the seeds, so nothing is wasted.

Mine is open to friends

Cut the slice half as big, and then you can have two! I just tell myself to wait a bit, and usually in half an hour or so I've stopped wanting.

I've lost 20lbs in total and in that time I have gone down a band size

I'm 27 and from Nottingham! I've had a week or so off but really need to get back into it now.

I knew I was getting fat, but I stepped on the scales out of curiosity one day (after not weighing myself for years - they weren't even my scales as I don't own any) and saw that I was 2 stone over what I though - and I thought I was 4 stone over what I wanted to be

I've recently gone down a bra back size, and I haven't been doing this very long. So in a short while you'll be able to ditch that extender if you stick at it, and I know you can!

I think my number one motivation is my clothes. I have so many that don't fit, and slowly I've just been replacing them and hiding them at the back of my wardrobe - but a while ago my bike jeans were really tight, and those things are expensive so I can't just replace them! My waterproof trousers are also tight, and they…

My favourite book is Misery. However, my sister hated it because of some of the writing My least favourite is Desperation, as it was so unrealistic.

I've been to two different pilates classes on my own now, and it's been fine. Yes, I'm the biggest one there and I can't do most of it, but everyone is too focussed on what they're doing to care.

I count what I class as "extra" stuff, which is probably hard for anyone apart from me to understand. So my daily walk to the bus stop etc doesn't count. But if I'm doing a lot of walking over that, it does. General cleaning doesn't count, but if I had an extended session and moved furniture and spent hours doing stuff…

My diary is open to friends :-)

Just finished day 1. My legs felt like they were made of jelly!

I've just booked and am going again tomorrow :-)

I'm 27, although most people guess I'm younger

I tried to start today, but don't have the remote control for my DVD player and can't get it to start the workout without it.
-
I'm from the UK! Started fairly recently and still have a long way to go.

I want to be my pic again <-- That was me a few years ago

Someone I used to work with lost a lot of weight, and someone asked me if she was ill. Also, last time I lost weight my sister was very against it.

You're probably too busy struggling with the exercise to see when others are struggling! There's always going to be somebody better than you, or thinner than you, so don't worry about that. By going, you're trying to change yourself and that's the important thing.

There was a bit where we had to lie on the floor and wave our legs in the air, and oooof that was hard!
