Hello, My name is Lissette and I'm a college student. I am 22 and by halfway of this challenge I'll be 23. I have gone up and down with my weight since high school. I've decided at the beginning of this month that I will make use of my gym membership and dedicate my mind and body to a healthier and fit me. Plus I'm…

Thank you! I completed W1D2 yesterday...I was able to do the same as yesterday which is fine with me because I know I'll keep improving each week. Hope everyone is still enjoying their C25K week.

W1D2 accomplished! I felt good running and for the first 14 mins I was like I got this and around 16-18 mins my mind was encouraging my body to continue. I motivated myself to continue by saying only 9 mins left, 8 mins left, 7...and that so made my night after finishing. I was looking at the following weeks and…

I completed W1D1 today. I'm so proud of myself because yesterday I tried it and failed and today I accomplished the first step. I was able to do 25:00 min with 1.55 mi, which for me is better than yesterday's of 20:14 or 20:49 min with 1.33 mi. I lowered my mph by .3 and that sure did help me along with the…

W1D1 complete! I was able to finish it today...I lowered my mph a bit to 4.3 mph and that helped.. I also was doing some breathing exercise as well that I read on the c25k group discussion.. That was not so bad for being w1d1 after everything was said and done. Hope everyone else is enjoying their C25K week.

That's awesome! Yay you! I  it's a small world! My favorite ride at Disneyland.

I've been walking at 3.4 mph on different levels of incline, that's also the mph I've been using for this C25K program. I've been running/jogging at 4.5 mph because that is the farthest that I'll go for speed right now. I'm not trying for speed at the moment, I'm more for distance. Thanks for the info! Redoing W1D1…

I'm down for this challenge. Count me in as well.

I did W1D1 today and I failed so I will shoot for another shot at it tomorrow...I felt dizzy around 21 min. into it so I had to take a rest and stop for a couple of mins  ...My body was telling me to stop because I was feeling dizzy and felt like vomiting. I'm doing it on the treadmill at the gym and I usually change…

Last week I kind of tested it out to see if I could handle it but only for a mile. It sure seems like a challenge but I am so ready to try the c25k. I've been tempting to try this out since I found about it in January. http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml I've had it bookmarked since then and finally am…

I'm down for this challenge. Something to motivate me to workout more. :)

Your trainer seems to have no intention in doing what you want to focus on. I would suggest to either continue going to your gym and working on free weights on your own or find another gym that will accommodate your needs. :) BTW nice blog very inspirational. Following you on some of your social media. :D

Wow, great pics and these are encouraging. I just started myself and these pics are very encouraging in continuing with my goal. :)

Hi, I enjoy the elliptical also. I at least do 15 minutes on it every time I go to the gym. I like working on my legs and butt, so I guess lower body. I tried the pull your self up strength training equipment and I pretty much sored my body. ANyone have any recommendations on how to use/adjust my body for that?

Hi, Thanks! I'll have to look into the Jillian Michael's 30 day shred. I remember a couple of years ago I used a video from the library and it helped me with my form, I can't remember the name of it but it worked for me. Yay for those videos working for you and yay for a 9 month old baby. :) On another note, when I was 14…

Hi, No I have not tried spin classes. The only classes I have tried are bosu bootcamp and zumba. I've been wanting to try belly, butt, and thighs and yoga sculpting. My eating habits...hmm let's see I eat fruits, veggies, and of course fatties. When I cook I avoid using butter or any type of oils, but that's unavoidable…
