My fat butt can actually run about a 9-10 min mile (yes, even at 230 pounds!). My fastest mile time was a little under 7 minutes back in the day. I ran with people who were faster than me (thanks to military training)...that helped....but when I did'nt have the people around me, I just alternated distance of my runs…
