Great job! I can see a real change. :flowerforyou:

I live for the end of the day when I click the little "complete entry for the day" button. I always write it down on a white board in my room. I write it down every night and then average the weight and divide it by the number of days. It gives me a pretty good estimation of what I"ll lose for the week. Example: If…

Drop it on my student loans. TAKE THAT SALLIE MAE! hahaha

I hate when people ask me advice and then don't listen at all! Or just make excuses. Why ask me real advice if you're just going to tune out? grrrr:explode:

TLDR... but I skimmed it. Interesting stuff. OP- I commend you for taking the time and energy to research this fully. Everyone knows that diets are always perpetuated by personal anecdotes, popular opinion, and money/ advertising. That being said I offer this advice to everyone- 1.) Take everything with a grain of salt…

Wow! Great job! You were obviously beautiful before but you look even better now. :flowerforyou:

I agree that you've done a terrific job! I also know exactly what you mean when you have an impulsive moment and you just feel out of control. I'm proud of my success too (20 lbs in 7 weeks) but it's very hard for me too. I hate feeling like I did something that was out of my control. Makes me think I haven't conquered…

I rarely see results if I only exercise 30 mins a day. For me to lose consistently (more than 1 lb. a week) I have to work out at least 60 mins x 4 days a week. Is there any way to squeeze in an extra 15 mins a few days a week? I know you said time is scarce but I feel like an extra 15 mins would do you a bit of good.…

Congratulations on your success! You should be so proud!:flowerforyou:

The heavier you are and the older- the more calories you burn. Are your friends very overweight? There's your answer right there. If you want to burn more calories increase your intensity w/ added weights, resistance or longer workouts.

Congrats! You look amazing! :flowerforyou:

For a minute I thought your post said "10 lbs Lost" but now I realize it's 101 lbs.! That's freaking amazing, man!

I love it!!! I write it down every night after I finish logging. I have a white board in my room right beside my mirror where I write the following: Weekly Goal Weight: 175 lbs. 5 Week Goal Weight: 165 lbs. Monday: 166.6 Tuesday 168 Wednesday 164 Thursday 165 And so on... I find that when I write out my 5 week goal each…

I like to think of all of my healthy foods as quotas that I have to eat everyday. Veg- 3/4 Fruit- 2/3 Carbs- 1/2 Protein- 3 I still count my calories but I've noticed when I focus on reaching a quota I feel less deprived like I can't have certain foods. Works for me. :flowerforyou:

I'm a gym junkie... and a DVD fiend so I never have an excuse to not workout. BUT recently I've been sorta seeing a trainer at my gym: love: so occasionally I opt for an easier cardio DVD instead of a heavy lift because "I don't want him to think I'm clingy."   Hilarious excuse. Flimsy. But at least…

@butterfliespi It's a very brave step to make your diary private. Congrats on taking that step. I took a quick look at your food diary. I noticed 3 big things off the top. 1.) You should start tracking your sugar. In my estimation you are over every single day. 2.) Cut out the "diet foods" and limit the "processed foods."…

1. how tall are you? 5' 1" 2. how old are you? 24 3. how much do you weigh? 177.6 4. how many gross calories do you eat? It varies - around 1200- 1400 weekdays 5. how many net calories do you eat? It varies - I'm set to 1350 and on the days I workout I don't eat my exercise cals back so on a non-exercise day about 1300 and…

@Mommareed4 How long have you been on that regimen? I would take a wild guess that you're no longer challenging your body. Do you feel like your fitness level has improved? Is it easier to finish 30DS? Add some resistance! Get some arm and leg weights for your kickboxing class. But it could also be your diet. Good luck!…

Congrats!!! Excellent job! :flowerforyou:

NO offense but please do NOT listen to that advice. :noway: Use HEAVY WEIGHTS and do lower reps. This myth of women bulking up from lifting heavy must die.

Congrats! Amazing job! :flowerforyou:

No one ever says "Wow you look really tone, but how much do you weigh?" Just saying- lift heavy, lift often. You'll look better no matter what the scale says. And if you combine cardio and heavy weight lifting you'll lose weigh even faster! :flowerforyou:

Not sure if it's been said but one of my friends swears by circus workouts! Says they're amazing... As soon as Lifebooker or Groupon or LivingSocial has a deal on a circus class, I'm there!
