I know exactly how you feel on this. When I started to lose weight it was all " you are looking good!" or "good job getting healthy" etc etc. but as I kept losing more weight people just kind of made snide remarks like "you are wasting away!" "eat a cookie god dammit!" and just things that didn't make any sense... the…

I'd say you are missing some baking powder in there to help it rise up. Try perhaps a tsp or 2, not very sure on the exact measurements, but it may help.

I just made these as waffles, pretty freaking delicious, although I gotta say they were a little too airy for waffles... Dunno texture was odd, but still good. Will try them as pancakes next time, but there really is nothing better than waffles I made these protein powder waffles and omg... They are amazing Waffles 1/2 cup…

I feel you 100%, I had lost around 45-50lbs but not in the healthiest manner. (shamefully >.>) I cut out so much of my favorite foods that it just wasn't feasible to maintain. It really sucks because I was down to a weight that I liked but after I decided to quit smoking, I pretty much got massively derailed with cravings,…

I remember eating so much when I was younger it was actually sickening.... For breakfast 6 very large pancakes with 4 tablespoons of butter and tons of syrup Snacks were a full box of fruit roll ups, gushers, and chessmen cookies Lunch was probably mc Donald's or a full box of cereal More snacks of chocolate and sweets.…

How are you with dairy products such as low fat milk or yogurt? They have some decent protein in them as well. The fage 0% Greek yogurt has 21 grams of protein per serving ( in the large container, so per cup) and also 12 grams of protein per the small containers of 5.3 ounce with fruit. It's a pretty good option and it's…

That's an awesome idea, thanks! I'll give it a shot, luckily I just found my video camera again :)

Thanks everyone for solid advice thus far, I think I'm just going to keep doing what I am doing. I'm also going to try to look into a decent gym around my area and hopefully I'll find a place I can be comfortable with and can afford ( money is kind of tight around this time of year) nothing to it but to do it and all that…

I don't think I want a six pack  maybe a 4 pack....I'll even settle for 2. Lol I think I can convince him this is a good idea if I can just show him I can still be attractive and have some muscles and not look like a dude lol, it's just gonna take awhile.

Oh no he doesn't just sit around at the gym, when he's not lifting he's doing cardio as well, he loves to run and do the stair master haha, probably where he may spend a lot of time.

Haha it seems like the course of action huh? I may just bruise his ego if I did that lol. It's not easy to convince him to change things so I may just have to do my own thing and hopefully show him my progress it working

I wore my fitbit during a couple sessions of playing ddr on heavy, played for 1 hour nonstop and it averaged out to around 400-500 calories burned for different sets. not too bad and its fun!

I love DDR. Ive been playing for 12 plus years and competed in a lot of tournaments throughout my days ( and won). I'm pretty old school. Lol I mostly play arcade only since I have a machine within walking distance for me and I get free credits :) I usually prefer playing DDR for my exercise because I never feel like I…

I have quit recently too ( on my 2nd month) and for my first 3 days I just found myself drinking heathy fruit smoothies or juicing vegetables. It helped with the energy levels a good bit. I chewed gum a lot too, mostly peppermint since the taste was strong and kept my mouth occupied when I had a craving. If gum isn't your…

I'm on the same form of April as well but I'm 28 day cycle and I don't skip periods. I've been on it for 7 plus years and my period has always been like clock work. Once I started exercising and losing weight my period started to become spotty and kind of erratic. So I think personally it's just the exercise and weight…

That's actually a really good idea, I should probably get one of those for myself :) thanks for the advice!

This has been me for the last week as well. first going over by 300... then going over by 900-1000 calories. I felt sick of myself, I couldn't believe i ate all of that (and used to eat like that) and am so full to bursting but kept wanting more. I'd binge on things i haven't had in a long time like cake or cookies, ice…

Haha yes I 100% agree with you but sometimes just grabbing a snack is easier than cooking something up. Lol though it is an interesting sensation when I eat a lot of carbs like that, I feel so stuffed and full and I should be satisfied with that but I continue to eat because like you said it dissolves so quickly. It's sad…

Thank you very much! that link really made me feel better. I guess I drilled into my head I can never have certain things again if I want to be healthy, but it didn't make me very happy. It really shed some light for me in regards to what I should be in taking for my body :)

Thank you for your input. I've been worried if I up my protein and fat intake i'll gain more weight, but the carbs are certainly not helping any so I will give it a shot. hopefully it'll keep me from binge eating later at night.
