  • eat my dinner and learn from my mistake
  • Thank you both very much
  • Thanks very much - should I do this 3 times a week? or more?
  • I work out with my hubby about once a week for a run. he is faster than me but slows down to run with me. Then puts his headphones in and ignores me (i dont listen to music when i run). I never saw the point in that. I guess there is no point to my post either, except I have a husband who wants to run with me but…
  • hey im a runner too (training for my first half) I am 32 and have a 2 /12 year old son. i have to continually track my food cause i know the second I dont, the weight will come back on. feel free to add me
  • I agree with her...to a point. The points she was making were valid. HOWEVER, the way she wrote about the girls at the airport and the fact she kept referring to these girls as "fatties" was just rude and unnecessary - which completely negated the point she was trying to make
  • yes. my wonderful mum altered a few of my dresses that i simply couldnt bear to part with! but the most she took them in was up to 2 dress sizes. After that, the clothing would lose its form
  • I absolutely take it personally when I have written something that is important to me. I do it on FB, something bothers me enough to write a status update about. Its important to me and I want to get my point across. I post and wait for responses only for a response to come back with
  • I bugs me when people correct my spelling or grammar. I am a good speller and I know how to write. However, my iphone keys are very close together and sometimes mistakes happen. If i noticed, I would have corrected it myself, I dont need it pointed out. Likewise, when I am reading a post, if I can read it and understand…
  • It sounds like you care alot more about the friendship than he does if thats how he acts towards you. First and foremost you have to look after yourself, if he is bringing you down, that is not good for you. Do yourself a favour and just not contact him for a while. If he cares at all about you, he will ask why and you can…
  • I average out at 6.5mph when doing anything up to 6 miles. After that, I tend to slow to 6mph. When I do short runs (5k) I tend to run at 7mph
  • I always gain weight in the first 2 weeks of starting a new exercise regime. I think it is something to do with your body holding onto water. Keep doing what your doing and you will lose weight. :flowerforyou:
  • eurgh! Fartlek!  it hurts!!!
  • Im aiming for 154 (specific I know!) Im currently at 160 and although I am a healthy weight, Im really just trying to cut down on fat %. I would be happy at 170 if I was lean with it
  • I run 3 times during the week and do insanity when Im not running. I try to jump on the treadmill straight after but Im too exhausted. I can probably squeeze in one additional run during the week at night. Or I could limit insanity and run more. I know its important to get my long run in every week. I will defo check out…
  • My 2 favourite films at the 39 steps and the lady vanishes. Love them both
  • I remember doing C25K and being so paranoid about just how slow I was going. I was paranoid for months after I finished it aswell. Eventually, my speed just worked its own way up as i got fitter and did speed training. The important thing is you are doing it, it doesnt matter how slow you go as long as you are running. You…
  • I am a firm beleiver in working through the pain, as soon as you start working out, your muscles become warm and flexible again and its not sore. But thats just me
  • Im in the same boat as you but I can do insanity - granted, I modify the push ups as I cant do a full one yet but thats about it. The question is why do you doubt your ability to do the workouts and why dont you try it and see before saying its too hard?
  • just because you wouldnt want to be with you, doesnt mean everyone else feels the same. As for your grandparents, you are an adult, they are adults, tell them to back off! Do it politely but make it clear that you dont need them picking faults at you.
  • i know my hubby watches porn, he knows I watch porn. Its always when the other one is out of the house. I really dont see anything wrong with it tbh. Never understood the women who have major problems with it. Its harmless
  • This^^^ If I want to "cheat" by having something really quite high in calories, I will try and plan for it by eating a little less throughout the day and exercising to try and cover it. If I dont manage to cover it, I have the cheat meal and leave it there, I eat properly the rest the of the day - it is a bad habit to…
  • im not a fan of WW, it costs alot of money to get weighed and listen to someone sell their product. You dont need any of that. MFP is awesome and you can eat whatever you like(so long as it fits in your calories) - when it comes to cooking, you obviously burn water because your not watching the pot. Anyone can cook, stand…
  • I have to say, I had never heard of Dr Oz before I joined MFP - hes a doctor who claims to have weight loss miracle cures? Is he only in America?
  • I did it last year when i was 200 lbs. I lost a good bit of weight on it (20lbs) then stalled. Thats when I joined MFP and started watching what I ate. I finished insanity and started running. Ive been running ever since. Now that Im a healthy weight (161) I restarted today to try and lose the baby belly and to avoid being…
  • Breakfast Lunch Dinner Planned Snacks Drinks Unplanned Snacks I only changed it to the unplanned snacks yesterday so I can monitor more closely what snacks im eating. Im really good when it comes to meals and portions but im a terrible snacker.
  • when I started running, I hated every damn minute - now if I don't run 6 days a week I get cranky and irritable. Its all about being committed and sticking with it. I don't know where I would be without running (actually I know exactly where I would be - 60lbs heavier!!). Start exercising, stick with it and the button in…
  • I think I was closer to 25lbs when people started to notice, but people really noticed when i lost 50lbs and it all seemed to come off my face!! It also depends where you lose the weight from!
  • Im in the same boat as you, I got down to 72kg and a BMi of 23. As soon as I realised I was a "healthy" weight, my restrictions went out the window and I binged ALOT - I didnt even have that many restrictions, I would still eat chocolate and crisps just limited them to once or twice a week. but as soon as i hit my goal, I…
  • I googled "why can I lose weight while doing insanity" - it took me to the forums. i signed up and quickly learned its because i was eating waaaay to much! That was a year ago, never looked back!
