Thanks. Considering my diet isn't that great and I am lucky for 2 gym days a week due to my infant I am happy as can be with my progress.

^ That. You will feel on a rep if you can do another or not. If in doubt I don't push it unless I have a spotter. Better safe then sorry. I also do not add weight quickly. I work till I can do my sets x 8-10 instead of 5-6 and then add in some more weight.

Excited for my bodpod tomorrow and then finishing up a challenge with a local group then I am going into recomp. I am done with eating at a deficit. Going to go back in for a follow up in May before next summer and see what progress I can make statistically and visually.

I agree also with these types of runs you are not running a whole 5k straight you need to just be able to jog between event/skill so HIIT is probably more what you need for this.

I am similar. Very pear shaped and carry fat all in my lower body. I use a few methods then averagre them out. A user, haybails or something similar made a google doc that uses messurments and calipers and such to give you an idea. I found this to be best vs pictures and guess becuase we also are our own worst critics.

Why do you want to lose weight? Do you have loose skin, or saggy spots you are unhappy with? If so I would say to go and lift weights.
