I typically just work out on my carpet. It's thick & we just put it in & it holding up fine. I don't wear shoes, but I would recommend wearing shoes.

^^^This. I have a 2 year old & ever since I started adding strength training 3X week, I've seen some great improvements in my tummy area. My skin is definitely stretched out. I've been overweight a good portion of my life so I've got skin hanging just about everywhere. Since you had a baby recently, it may take quite a…

This! I strive to eat back half because I think MFP's guesstimations are often too high.

I have a pooch as well. I've got a few pounds left to go. I've accepted my body as what it is. I would rather have the pooch than the scar from a tummy tuck. I'm planning on having another here in the next year. I've done the Jillian Michaels 6 week 6 pack abs level one (free on youtube) & my core feels stronger. I would…

Congrats on going to a nutitionist, eating a balanced meal, & working out. That being said, are you weighing your food or eyeballing it? And have your nutritionist or a trainer at your gym check your body fat. I'm now more worried about my body fat & composition more than a number on the scale. I'd rather look toned than…

No, lower your overall body fat percentage. Here are some acceptable body fat ranges http://www.bmi-calculator.net/body-fat-calculator/body-fat-chart.php http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/library/blbodyfatcharts.htm I know some scales can estimate your body fat. I know trainers at a gym can figure out your body fat % with…

I hope eating closer to maintenance for a day or so helps! Also, changing up your workout routines helps too! Good luck!
-
Congrats! That's great results!

Following! I am also great at losing huge amounts of weight, but maintaining is what's difficult for me. I've been on MFP since July 2013 & have lost 45lbs. I think I average almost 2lbs a week loss, except I lose about a pound a week now that I'm at a healthy BMI. I feel like I will maintain better now that I'm not doing…

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/637-gastric-bypass-lapband There is a MFP Group called Gastric ByPass/LapBand I'm sure you'll find a good support group there. I wish the best for you!

I agree with increasing your calories a bit & see if that does the trick. When I hit a mini plateau, which happens every 2 months or so, I eat closer to maintenance for a few days, maybe a week. Then BAM! I start losing weight again. I refeed my body every so often & I've found that it has helped. Good luck!

I know how you feel! I rarely worked out after being away from my toddler 10+ hours a day, 5 days a week. I used to get in a quick 15min yoga session 3X week & went to the gym on the weekends. I focused more on my diet when I worked. When the weather was nice, I'd take my toddler out in the jogging stroller after dinner.…

Hello! My name is Alex & I'm in Owasso. I'm hoping to reach my goal by April 2014. My fav fitness activity is jogging in the jogging stroller with my daughter.

Howdy y'all! I'm Alex from Owasso! Started out on here in July 2013. Hoping to reach my goal by April 2014. I enjoy jogging in my jogging stroller with my toddler.

Following. I still have the 'mommy pooch'. I think I have to lower my body fat all around to start seeing results. I have a feeling I'll always have some sort of pooch though, which is ok because it matches the stretch marks ;)

I'm 5'1'', 25 years old. SW 167lbs (7/2013) CW 123lbs GW 120lbs UGW 115lbs? I took baby steps towards my goal. My first goal was to get down to 132lbs (highest weight of healthy BMI). I achieved 132lbs in November & am continuing to lose weight, just to look better in my new clothes. I'm now incorporating strength training…

I'm currently 29 inch waist (wear anywhere between a tight 6-7 to a comfortable 8). Would like to get down to a size 5 US, so I'd like to lose 2-3 more inches around my waist at least. Started out wearing a 13 US.

That's awesome! I held on to my old jeans that I bought in 2012 (they didn't fit), now they are so big I had to give them away a week ago! Felt ah-mazing! Good for you!

Awesome NSV! One of my biggest NSV's now is that people are now realizing that I've lost weight! It feels great! Good for you!

I'm 5'1", 125lbs, waist 29.5, hips 36-37, bust 36. I use www.fitnessblender.com & they have great free workouts for each part of your body. The biggest thing I'm trying to do is tone up & reduce body fat. Drink lots of water & make sure you're eating enough protein. Being shorter, I've always been heavy in my thighs, ive…

My waist is a 29.5 (I wear a very tight size 6 or a comfortable size 7 in most brands), and would love to wear a US size 5 or get down to a 26 inch waist. I've had a baby & am working to tighten up. I'm 5'1'' & it's super hard to find jeans that don't drag to the ground without ordering petite or short online. When I was a…

Thank you so much for sharing! You have done such an incredible job!! I've been a yo yo dieter my whole life (25 years old) and had a baby 2 years ago. I've seen posts of moms with 6 pack abs, but alas all I have is loose skin in my tummy area (had gallbladder removed at 5 months pregnant & appendix removed 2 weeks…
