Congrats! I enjoyed Buff Moms To Be (40min DVD) and Denise Austin prenatal (free on YouTube). Also 10 mins prenatal Pilates on YouTube. I did not like Jazzersize prenatal (60mins!) or Erin O'Brien prenatal DVD. I've been renting prenatal DVDs from my local library & going on YouTube. I using just out it under low impact…

Congrats! I'm due Jan 29th. I'm almost 14 weeks pregnant. In the first trimester, I was too tired to workout & too sick to eat healthy. I'm just now starting to feel better. I love prenatal DVDs. Great reminder to do my pelvic tilts & Kegals! If you're nauseous, just eat what you can. If you're lucky & don't get sick, then…

I'm 14 weeks & up 6lbs at least. I'm eating around 2,100 calories a day & not working out. I was trying to eat 1,900 but I was just too hungry! Prepregnancy weight 109lbs at 5'1" & now I'm about 115lbs. I gained 34lbs with baby #1 & am aiming for that this time around. I suggest talking to your dr. Have you ever had…

I'm 13 weeks pregnant & have gained 5-6lbs. I just started working out again by renting prenatal DVDs from the library. Also Denise Austin has a fun prenatal cardio video on YouTube. Walking should be enough cardio. Swimming is great too. I just started doing strength training again this past week, usually for 20mins once…

Hang in there! I'm in my 1st trimester & am having a very difficult time sleeping most nights & staying asleep. I'm either nauseated, hungry, or have to pee! I'm thinking about buying a body pillow. Maybe it'll help!
-
I def want to find out the gender! :) the suspense would kill me lol

I've been there before! This may sound bad, but I stopped taking the prenatal vitamin with iron & just took a prenatal vitamin. I would suggest talking to your dr about a different type of hemmeroid ointment. Hang in there!

During the past few weeks, carbs have been my best friend. You're doing leaps & bounds better than I! Thankfully I've gained about 3-4lbs & am 12 weeks pregnant. Sounds like you're right on track food wise. I'd give in to your cravings & enjoy in moderation. But that was my mantra even before I got pregnant :)

Check out your local library & check out prenatal DVDs. I like buff moms to be DVD. Also Denise Austin has a free one on YouTube!

12 weeks today, so almost out of the first trimester. I'm already feeling loads better than I did a few weeks ago. Doing prenatal workouts 2-3X week. Still watching what I eat somewhat. Gained 3-4lbs thus far, which I'm happy about. Got my ultrasound done on Tuesday & baby looks beautiful! He/she was sucking their thumb &…

I gained a lot during my first trimester with baby #1 & gained 34lbs throughout the whole pregnancy. I'm 11 weeks with baby #2 & have gained 3lbs thus far. I think every pregnancy is different. If you're not too nauseous, I recommended renting a few prenatal dvds from your local library. :)

I'm 10 weeks along & have gained 2-3lbs. I'm eating around 2100 calories a day & am only 5'1". I'm just now getting the energy to workout! I ate whatever I wanted & did not workout during my first pregnancy & gained 34lbs. I'm hoping to gain the same or a bit less this time around! I eat every 2 hours because I'm starving…

I was on bedrest with #1 & ate fast food & cereal the whole time & only gained 34lbs. I'm 10 weeks pregnant with #2, have gained 2-3lbs & do prenatal cardio & Pilates a few days a week. I'm 5'1" & eat 2100+ calories a day. My first daughter was a preemie & still struggles with gaining weight. My high risk dr wants me to…

I'm 9 weeks pregnant with baby #2 & have been so exhausted! I have a 3 year old daughter & I'm a SAHM. I'm wiped out by nap time! I barely workout now, if ever. Energy does start picking up in the 2nd trimester though. I'm looking forward to it! I've also got bad food aversions & nausea this time around. :/ total pain in…

I don't have experience with that, but I delivered my daughter at 35 weeks & she was only 5lbs 4oz (17 inches long) so 4lbs sounds about right. And I was in the hospital for that whole last month as they were shoving food down my throat, otherwise she probably would've been smaller. I wouldn't worry too much about that,…

Congrats! I'm due in Jan! So exciting! I'm 5'1" & was 150lbs pre pregnancy & delivered at 184lbs at 35weeks. (34lb gain). I was on bedrest & ate junk my whole pregnancy! At my 6 week post partum appointment I weighed 158lbs. But of course the weight creeped back up! My daughter was 2 before I dropped the baby weight & then…

Congrats! Your symptoms are very common. I'm 9 weeks pregnant with #2 & I'm nauseous, very tired, tender breasts, bloated, moody, etc. it's all the hormones :/ I've gained a pound or so this far, but not stressing about weight gain too much. I gained 34lbs with #1. I'm trying to walk a few days a week since I'm just too…

I never experienced nausea with my first. This time around, I started getting nauseous around 6 weeks. I'm 8 weeks pregnant now & still nauseous & fatigued. The promethazine pills helps some. I hear Zofran works better. Cereal is the only thing that settles my stomach. Hopefully it subsides around 12-14 weeks. Hang in…

I actually put on weight while breast feeding. I ended up putting on 9lbs that first year. I lost so much the first 2 months because I was so tired. Once I got used to a routine, I started eating whatever I wanted aka junk food! I'm hoping that I'll be able to keep the weight off while breast feeding this time around!

My dietician says that we do need extra protein while pregnant. She told me to keep my macros the same as I have them now. 50% carbs, 30% fat, 20% protein & keep eating 1800 calories til I hit my second trimester. Of course I eating nothing but carbs right now :) I think that's fine as long as you're feeling good.

During my first pregnancy, I weighed 150lbs at 5'1" (overweight Bmi) & gained 34lbs. Basically ate whatever I wanted & was on bedrest so no exercise. I was down to 158lbs during my 6 week post partum checkup. This is my second pregnancy, and I'm closely monitoring my calories (1800+ exercise calories). I started at 109lbs…

Feel free to add me! I log daily & support my friends. I'm from Oklahoma, USA I'm a 25 year old stay at home mom of a 3 year old. I'm about 7 weeks pregnant & experiencing quite a bit of nausea this time around. Not being too active but I swam with my kiddo today.
-
You're so active! That's awesome! I'm 5'1" Pre pregnancy weight 109lbs Current weight (7weeks) 109.5-110lbs I gained 34lbs with my last pregnancy & would be happy to gain the same again. Currently too nauseous to workout all that much. I swam a bit with my toddler today. Goal is low impact cardio 2X week & strength…

My daughter will almost be 4 when I deliver. She's excited to stay with her grandparents. She's not upset at all. Lol. She will visit & see the new baby a few hours a day when my mom in law comes up there, but she will enjoy the time away from me. I guess I'd suggest having your little one stay with grandparents if they…

Welcome! And congrats! I'm pregnant with my second(due 1/29). I haven't worked out as regularly as I used to, but I'm hoping to get some energy back soon! I still log my food everyday. Feel free to add me!

I agree with above. Must've been something you ate. Check again in a few days & see where you are. Drink plenty of water. I'm sure it was food weight & not all baby weight. :)

That's a rough situation. I haven't been able to work successfully since having my daughter 3 years ago. Family didn't work out,, daycare didn't work out, & neither did our ridiculously priced nanny for one reason or another. Hopefully you all will be able to relocate back to Michigan, otherwise, a good nanny will be very…
