Might sound a tad obvious, but make sure you weigh yourself at the same time of day each time. I find my weight can fluctuate a couple of pounds or so during the day. I always weigh in first thing in the morning, and it works for me.

I had a similar issue a while ago and saw my doc (deffo recommend you see your's btw), and my acid was caused by an issue with my gall bladder. I was advised to reduce my fat intake, and the issue has now gone! Another plus point of MFP!
