How may calories are you eating? How mush protein and fat are you taking in everyday? Sounds like your diet may be the problem.

In all truth it's more about habit than will power. Losing weight is a journey of effort so start small. What are two things you can change? Could you start drinking more water, become more active? If you have time google Michael Mosley and watch his documentaries on exercise, weight lose and fasting. Each documentary is…

To be honest, my initial motivation was to look good naked, blah, blah, blah, all the vain reasons of course. As consistency became a challenge, looking good no longer was enough to get me through the lazy times. I had to have a reason greater than looks to keep going. Knowing that my faith demands that I take care of my…

I find it interesting that people are saying to not take Plexus when the question is if you tried and if so, how do you like it. Sometimes, people need a little help to get going. Eating healthy, eating less, counting calories, can be alot for some people who's just starting out. Weight loss is a personal journey and…

Reading your plea for help, I think of my struggle and how desparate I was and still am about losing weight. There are many issues here that's causing you to over eat, and delay action. Since you never had a weight problem until adulthood, I'm guessing you didn't know what eating healthfully looked like, and what it took…

Your story has me thinking about my diet logic behind 1200 calorie intake. I started MFP out of desparation and frustration. So when I was given the 1200 limit, I saw it as a challenge. I had to prove to myself I could do it. It's been almost 3 weeks and I've lost 10lbs already. Part of me like feeling hunger for some…

Hello, I started the 5:2 diet and it's been going well. I have an open food diary so feel free to read. Also, I start my fasting days right after dinner and goes until dinner the following day so it's much easier to do (like to book suggest). So far, I've lost 10lbs in 2 weeks!

Maybe you can try picking foods depending on their glycemic Index number. Foods over 50 will raise your blood sugar level and can cause weight gain. You have many options and there's not much you'll need to do to cut calories. It will take some getting use to (i.e. headaches) eating less, but your body will adjust. Good…

My DH knows I've been trying to lose weight but he doesn't know all the changes I've made so far. He has yet to notice that I've lost 10lbs, but I'm not telling him. I'm not annoucing to anyone my weight loss. I'm happy with knowing what I'm is working and when people notice, they'll say something, or not. I'm no longer…

You are an attractive woman so expected to be starred at. Also, like others have stated, there's nothing wrong with asking for help and in fact, I'm sure most men would be more than happy to help you out and even show you a few exercises. Most women are intimidated by the meat heads in the weight room ( no offense guys).…

There are lots of good suggestions here and there are many diets and workouts out there for you to try. Although losing weight and changing your diet seems a daunting tast, it can also be fun. It's all in how you look at it and how you do it. If you can, incorporate activities you've always wanted to try, or sports you…

The first time I started workouting out to lose weight, I didn't track my caloires, just what I ate. Since it was a drastic change of lifestyle, I lost about 40lbs. I gained most of it back because I wasn't sure what how to change my diet and didn't want to count calories. When I started back my workouts, I went super…

I make the majority of my meals from scratch for a few reasons in addition to my weight loss goals. I especially make my sauces. smoothies and side dishes from scratch. The other day I made cocunut chicken curry that was fabulous.
