I'm also doing DDP Yoga and light cardio.... usually not on the same days. lol I busted my knee up really badly about 9.5 months ago and it looks like I'll never lift weights again. Which is actually turning out to be alright, because I'm enjoying this -- even though I have to really modify it (can't kneel).

Yea, I might look at knee pads soon... I was able to do some of it on my knees tonight, a little more than yesterday... but then again, I doubled the towel over one more time compared to last!! So far I've just been doing fat burner. Want to get a little more comfortable with that one before mixing it up more. :)

I did the Fat Burner video today and it went pretty well... Tried with a towel under my knees and it helped a tiny bit, but ended up doing most of the stuff standing. Still broke a sweat, so I'm good with that. haha Luckily, I also already have a yoga block from when I tried some traditional yoga last summer before the…

I had never heard of DDPYoga before, and I just wanted to thank you for posting about it. Last year I shattered my knee, and tonight I had been searching for beginner bodyweight routines... and was crying because I knew how much pain I would be in to try pretty much any of them. I was about to post asking for advice on…

Thanks! Congrats on your weight loss so far as well! I wouldn't be surprised if you lost more weight while the bone is healing, because it takes a lot of calories to do that. I run a group on facebook for Tibial Plateau Fracture Recovery, and most people on there have reported an initial weight drop. The trouble comes…

That's the plan!! :)

I suffered a tibial plateau fracture just over 8 months ago... still working on recovery as I'm still in significant pain. Doc says I can't lift anymore because of the pain it causes me, so I'm using MFP to make sure I stay within an appropriate caloric intake... especially since I gained a fair bit of weight after the…
